英語が中途半端に理解できる日本人にとって非常に有用な辞書です フランス語でわからない言葉はたいてい載ってますし、知っている英語についてフランス語での表現についても英仏辞書機能から確認することができます ”別に普通に仏和辞典・和仏辞典でいいのでは？”と思われる方もいるかもしれませんが、フランス語と類似の文化圏・言語構造に含まれる英語で定義を確認した方がニュアンス等が正確にとれると思ったのと単に英語の学習も兼ねたかったため購入しました コンパクトサイズなので中級者・上級者になってくると載っていない言葉もちらほら出てくるのかもしれませんがフランス語初学者としては今のところ完全に問題なく使用できています ※subtleのようなレアな？英語についても取り扱われていたので網羅性は思った以上に高いのかもしれません 英語ネイティブ向けの辞書のためなのか説明自体はあまり詳しくありません（というよりかなり簡素でそっけない感じ） またCollins辞書の売りと思われるフルセンテンスの独特の定義もこの辞書が英語話者向けのフランス語辞書のためなのか特に見られないのでオックスフォード英英辞典とかロングマン英英辞典のような普通の説明になっているように感じます ※Grammarの説明部分もありますが私の英語力では理解に時間がかかりそうですし仏英辞書がほしかっただけなので個人的にはあってもなくてもいいかなと思っています ※辞書の説明のなかでたまにみられる星マークの意味やよくわからない略語についての説明が辞書の最初の部分で探しても見当たらないので、略記や記号の意味の説明は辞書としての説明責任の範囲内だと思うので星を1つ減らしました（私が見つけられていないだけでどこかで説明されているのかもしれませんが・・）

I just got this dictionary today and it is absolutely amazing, i saw a review saying the book itself is bad quality and I cannot disagree more, for the price of the dictionary it is amazing, I feel as though the pages are not that thin and if anything I prefer them like this than if they were very thick because it would just weight the book down, the pages have to be thinner than most books as there is around 1200 pages and the book needs to stay as small as it can be. I started learning French a year ago and I just bought this book but I am SOO HAPPY with it and for the price I cannot recommend it enough. Also I forgot to mention the first half of the book is in French (French words to English) and the second half is in English (English to French) if you want an affordable dictionary I 1000% recommend this one for you!
