These motion sickness patches have been a lifesaver for my son, who gets queasy even on short drives. Bought these for when I went cruising. They were brilliant, I was a first time cruiser and suffer from motion sickness. I did take the odd maxalon on the rough days but on the other days the patches worked well

The one day of my cruise that I showered and forgot to put this back on was a baaaaad day. They stick well and will last a couple days even with swimming and showering. I started out by putting just one on and I was fine, but after feeling that miserable sea sick feeling when I forgot to reapply one, I just kept one behind each ear at all times and I was perfectly fine the rest of the time. I didn't experience any real side effects, but I did get some skin irritation from consistently wearing them for almost a week straight, which was a small price to pay for the relief they brought me. The rash cleared up within a couple of days and you could probably avoid it all together if you moved them to a slightly different spot each time. More than worth it either way! Also, I drank a good amount of alcohol on my cruise and did not experience any interactions or sleepiness like you may with dramamine.

These patches are fantastic. I use them a lot as I spend a lot of time on the ocean taking photos. Before I found these it was hard to manage motion sickness looking through a viewfinder on a rolling sea. I also used them on a trip to Antartica across the Southern Ocean with no sea sickness at all. No side effects like drowsiness etc. Highly recommended.
