Simply Natures Pure Alpha Lipoic Acid 600mg 120 Veggie Capsules, Non-GMO Thioctic Acid 4 Month Supply

This is the best ALA I have used. I tried others but come back to this one. It works very well for my diabetic neuropathy with only one pill a day instead of a handful. Urine may have a slight odor but that's how I know it is in my system. No more electric shocks in my extremities or painful cramping.

I think since I've started using this product my peripheral neuropathy has improved.

Love this product, with one exception:I don't need 600 mg. 400 seems to be perfect. i bought this product because i have neuropathy and pre-diabetes. i was using a combination of chromium and benfothiame and rhodelia rosea to up control these effects of these conditions. those products worked great, but I wanted a away to not have to buy and take so many supplements. I am a research addict on everything I take, so I found info about alpha lipoic acid and how 600-1200mg a day has been lab tested to successfully resolve the effects of these conditions. a lot of the blogs said to start out with low dosages like 100 mg and add in more till you get to the level that best suites you. I couldn't find a product as pure as this one, without fillers which also had the "R" factor. So I have had to divide the capsules in 3rd's (a pain) and I take 1/3 in morning and 1/3 at night. Tastes nasty and causes me to choke, unless I swallow it with lots of water. This great product in this inconvenience size, and having to deal with this process of dividing it, is why it didn't get 5 stars. However with that said, I gave it 4 stars for it's effectiveness. The purity of it with the "R" factor, must be powerful. No neopathy pain, feeling in toes is returning fully, blood sugar spikes are greatly diminishing, fatigue gone, resting all night for about 7 hours without waking up, feeling less anxious and aggitated, much more calm. Last night I came across info about sulfur and the blood brain barrier and the loss of sulfur in our diets and how adhd, alzheimers, dementia and autism is being treated with sulfur and profound effects. So, I looked again at alpha lipoic acid (ala), because that sulfur sounded like it could be in ala. Amazed to find out one of the main 5 supplements ways to get sulfur is (ala). That's when I realized that my brain fog clearing up was from the sulfur in the ala. I would recommend this product to anyone because of it's purity and effectiveness. But, you must find a way to divide this product into small doses. ALA is a very powerful anti-oxidant and it will remove minerals from your body like magnesium and thiamine. Make sure you are either supplementing with magnesium and thiamine or eating a diet rich in these vitamins and minerals. I personally will buy this product again, while asking Simply Nature to come up with a lower dosage. i wasn't paid, nor did I get a free sample of this product. I bought it from Amazon and have been using it over a week. Hope this helps someone decide to try it. NOTE: if you have blood sugar problems-take with food. This is a powerful product and it will lower your blood sugar. I noticed severe drops in blood sugar when I took this on empty stomach.

I've used this for years for the pain of diabetic neuropathy. It's an excellent product.

I take 3 per day. My neuropathy is almost 0!

Works but I have to do further research on interactions with my current meds

After studying T cells thought i'd give this particular brand a Go. I won't miss it now, my joints have stopped cracking and grinding and my over all health remains good. This is the only product i have found without Fillers, naturally organic. It was a must through the pandemic. I would highly recommend it.

It arrived speedily, and from what I've been reading it seems to be a high quality product. And the price was right! The actual proof of its effectiveness will be if I enjoy increased energy. Haven't noticed that yet, but at 75, that may be asking a lot. :)

Does it take this long for these pills to work on the neuropathy in my feet???
