My 19 yr old son is vit D deficient and experiences insomnia, depression, panic attacks, and hair loss. He took D & K2 gummies for 4 months and they helped some, but due to sensory issues, the flavor and texture wasn't palatable. I bought the drops and he doesn't mind it. Has zero flavor and an easy to use dropper. Update: Son's mood greatly improved on day 3. Soon after taking, he's tired and sleeps soundly. I believe these drops are more effective than the gummies. Update Oct 30: Early Sept, son said the oil made his throat feel strange so I decided to add it in his food and continued this until the end of Sept. then stopped all together. A month has passed without taking it. He had his vit D level checked this week and results showed a huge increase from 19 to 70, putting him the normal range! Hair loss stabilized, panic attack is now periodic anxiety, sleeps many hours. 1/13/24 Another update! I'm age 55-never had my D level tested until last week and the result was a big surprse: 16.9 so my doctor said to take 2000IU D3 daily which is 4 droppers of the liquid. My blood pressure is very low 90/60 so I'm going to start with half the dose for now. Will update when my D level is checked again.

Quality vitamin D supplements are a necessity living in Alaska's interior. Even those of you with office jobs who don't see the sun much regardless where you live, may need to check out your D levels. Chronically low D seems to be an epidemic anymore. I had no idea how greatly a simple single vitamin effects so much of your health. I was tired all the time, my body was achy, I was depressed, my skin and hair looked terrible. I truly didn't know what was wrong (I am originally from Texas and outdoorsy so I got the D I needed). I also didn't know that a good diet still doesn't give the D you need, and living in northern latitudes sun exposure isn't strong enough. When I finally did the research it was clear that I was suffering from D deficiency, in just a year of living up here. I have seen HUGE improvements having taken this every day for about 5 months. It's tasteless and seems to be lasting forever. My kids take it without complaint. The liquid is absorbed easier than pill form. Seriously...get your D checked out, it's kinda a big deal. (Please tell me I'm not the only one who sees irony in that everyone needs some big D in their lives hahaha)
