The Hat Depot Light Weight Classic Soft Cool Mesh Crushable Fedora hat

The Hat is soft Cool Mesh. A affordable Fedora that's fantastic! The red color is vibrant and really makes a statement. The material is soft yet durable, and the mesh design keeps it breathable and cool. It was perfect for warm weather on my cruise. I love that it’s crushable, so it packs easily without losing its shape. The fit is comfortable and true to size at least for my larger sized head. Great quality for the price, and I’ve received lots of compliments on the ship.

Love the hat! It’s a very lightweight hat that I almost forget I am wearing it. The classic fedora style is nice and stylish and I’ve already had a couple of compliments bout the “nice looking hat I’m wearing”. The hat has mesh on the top and this allows the air and breeze to circulate so it’s perfect, specially on a hot day. The quality of the material feels good and the hat is well made with all the stitches well finished. The fit is very comfortable and for me, the size S/M is perfect: not too tight but not too loose that it will blow off with some wind. I purchased the olive color and the color is just like it appears on the photo, making it a hat that I can wear with almost any outfit. It came packed in a bag and although the top was flattened down, all I had to do was pop it back up and it resumes its nice shape.

The hot pink is a great color. Hot, but not neon. It's very comfortable. My ears stick out and I'm self-conscious about that so I like this hat because I can pull it down low enough to cover the tops of my ears. That's a huge bonus. It's a quality hat. The brim is quite stiff and holds its shape even when it comes crushed out of a bag that was stuffed in a box. I pushed it down in one of the pictures so you can see that it pops right back up with no problems. I didn't have to do anything to this had to make it wearable. Many fedoras require a little bit of steaming to get some wrinkles or creases out and sometimes even to reshape the brim correctly. But not this hat, and I bought it in almost every color they have. I'd be comfortable packing these in a suitcase but I would stuff the hat with socks or underwear and use sock around the edges to protect the shape of the brim. You can see through the hat so it's not going to provide great sun protection for your head but the brim will protect your face. There's a sweatband inside so you can attach hat sizing tape if it's a little big on you. I bought the S/M and almost every one fits perfectly. There's only one that's tight so I'm going to use a hat stretcher to fix that. I have a small head so I'm thinking most people would do well with the large size. As you can see in the pictures it's a classic gangster fedora with a matching band and a small metal decoration attached to it. It's comfortable to wear on hot days because of the holes in it and I think it looks really cute. As I said I bought almost every color they have, so I'm obviously a fan. If you like your fedoras soft and comfortable, this is your hat.

Hat was exactly as advertized. Crushable, lightweight, good fit. In fact, it was delivered crushed and popped perfectly into shape when I unwrapped it! I wish it was offerd in a beige color.

Love my Fedoras and this one is a favorite with me! It's lightweight yet sturdy and looks fantastic. I've gotten so many compliments when wearing it. Here in the Texas heat it certainly makes a difference. I can wear it without feeling it on my head, and I love the fact that it doesn't make me sweat. I ordered the black one, and have previously ordered a navy blue one, and they are a great value for the money. Definitely a part of my spring/summer wardrobe!

The S/M size was slightly too tight for my 22.5 inch head. I hand washed it then used a hat stretcher while it was still damp to make it larger. It worked! I like that the hat is lightweight and crushable. Will be a good lid to pack in a suitcase. Wish I could figure out how to remove the metal disk from the band.

I actually LOVE these hats. I have purchased 10 of them and people have gifted me 8 others. I wear them everyday. I really love them. However, the sizing has changed. The small/medium used to fit me perfectly, now it is too small. A friend recently bought me a replacement light pink, but it is significantly smaller than my previous light pink, though it is listed as the same size. The same was true with another gifted to me. But large is too large. They need to go to a three size system and return the medium to true medium.

I rarley ever worn a hat before but found myself wearing it all summer long in 2025 and still mint going into 2026. The hat is not just breathable. Any little spec of dirt is easy to tap off thanks to that thin mesh material. I also had it wet and left out in the hot sun for days with no signs of fading color of material or emblem. Lighter than a feather so beware of strong winds! Almost lost it a few times so I will be buying another just incase.

This hat is perfect in size, very comfortable & great colour. This is the third hat I have purchased for my mother in this style & she loves them.

I love this hat itts soft pliable. Well made and looks stunning on it literally just came in a bag but it was big enough to accommodate it so it was not screwed up. Or damaged in any way well happy
