I highly recommend these magnetic sticks and balls. My son can play with them for hours. They are really fun and even the adults like to play with them too.

I bought these as a Christmas present for my 10 year old son. He had already received a set of these preciously for his birthday but he plays with them all the time and was begging for another set to add to his collection. I wouldn't recommend these for young kids because the magnetic balls that come with the sticks are quite small and could possibly be a choking hazard. The designs kids can make with these is absolutely amazing. My kid can literally spend hours at a time playing with these so if you weren't sure whether or not to get these for your kid. I say go ahead. I'll bet they will love them.

My kid loves these toys and is always building with them. The magnet strength is strong and works with any other magnetic toys. FYI: Box does come compacted and is heavy but to be expected.

My kids loved this set, the played nonstop the whole day they received it and haven't lost interested since (it's been 2 weeks)Even us parents would sit and build with them, so we decided to buy another set, and this time we decided to buy the 309 piece set (we had bought the 206 piece first).To my complete disappointment, it turns out the size of the magnetic stick is quite different and so you can't really combine them when building something, as it won't be symmetrical, hence would be impossible to do many designs.I now read the description and it does mention the dimensions, but I don't think anyone would assume they are different size, given that it's the same company and the same building toy except for the amount of pieces :/I wish they all came in the same size, regardless of amount of pieces in each set.I'm still giving 4 stars, just because it is a great toy.

I used to have a set similar to this when I was a kid and was disappointed when I was unable to find it recently, so I bought these in hopes to relive my childhood a bit. Happy to say that these are just as good of a quality as the ones I had as a kid. They're strong (video provided to demonstrate how well they hold up) and are buildable. I think the amount in this set is great too. I might not necessarily use all of them for my projects but I like having a lot of each color which is why I went with this size. Highly recommend!

May have to buy grandpa his own set. He loved it and so did my 6 year old nephew. As a retired elementary teacher of gifted children, I think this kind of toy is much better for kids than any kind of video.Highly recommend it.

I had a set similar to these when I was a kid.i absolutely freaking LOVED IT. My twins are feel are n9w old enough to have their own set. I bought one set to feel it out with them.... And Im buying another set. This way they have their own AND I get twice as much when they're away. Lol.

What's not to like when playing with magnets - and heavy, silver metal balls that make a really satisfying clicking sound when they hit each other?! And that's WITHOUT actually using them, as intended, to build things!! Spent a good couple of hours supervising 3-year-old grandson playing with them - and we both particularly enjoyed playing 'Marble Run' with them on curved track I had set up on some or other toy car activity! The magnets are very powerful - and the 'sticks' hold together really well (grandson was disappointed the balls weren't magnetic too, but the 'rolling" game soon made up for that!) This is a 'toy' which will last a fair few years, because of the different ways in which it can ACTUALLY be played with; why let imagination be curbed by instructions that say the pieces have to all be fitted together to 'make' something?! Expensive for what is actually in the box, but worth it as far as I am concerned (if your children are REALLY into constructing models, it's probably going to be a little restrictive for them - stick to duplo/legs or mechano/(K'nex!
