Will this work with the original dji pocket?

Id like to use this for my pocket 1 but I see there’s no speed control when using it. Is this true? What are the limitations?

That's true, the action of this joystick is linear. It does a slight ease in/out when you press and release it, but the motion is one speed. It's good for adjustments before you record, but not while you're recording.

Will it work with pocket 3?

I don't think the pocket 3 will ever come out, at this point. I think that product has been cancelled. This peripheral works with both pocket versions.

Can this work with pocket 1? Also, is this work well and better than the control wheel?

Yes it can work with the pocket 1. It really depends on the user. Some like the granular controls with the wheel because you can only do one movement at a time and extra buttons. It is bigger also when you add it because of the size and if you have big hands that might be a plus. This mini stick 2 makes it more compact in terms of combining all that and make it easier to put in the pocket or some cases. I will say I had used a control wheel before and it broke after a week of using it everyday on vacation. I switched to this and so far it has been OK. Not saying the wheel is not good, but usage will vary.
