Sabrina Hahn's Art & Concepts for Kids 4-Book Box Set: ABCs of Art, 123s of Art, Animals in Art, and Bedtime with Art Hardcover – November 23, 2021

As a graphic designer, I LOVED being able to find art themed books for gifts for the little ones in my family. These books talk about abcs, 123s, etc with paintings, prints, etc as the illustrations so it’s fun for all!

While the books are a bit sophisticated for my one year old (the bedtime one is lengthy) the pictures are absolutely stunning and it is an excellent intro to classical art. As an artist myself I wanted to expose my son to the art world right away and this is the perfect vehicle for that. Great value.

Exactly what we wanted to introduce classical works of art. Pieces from a variety of countries, time periods, and artistic styles. References are included so you can find the title & artist. Excellent to just look at the beautiful work with your baby to notice shapes and colors or read the simple stories for literacy skills or use the more interactive questions for critical thinking.

Beautiful books

I really love the concept of these books. I want my kids to be exposed to beautiful, classic art every day. I just wish there were more of the most famous works of art, whereas I feel several artists are repeated between the books and there are many, many famous works I’d expect to see that weren’t present. It’s still a good set, my expectations were just a little different. My kids like it, but don’t love it, so I’m not sure it accomplished my goal.

Love this set of books as a nice little intro to art history/art education for my toddler. Each book is appealing and has simple text to accompany each image. Many famous artists and notable works are featured in each book, with their names, name of the work, and date(s) noted, as well as question prompts about each piece. I also like that it’s not 100% western art - some Asian art and art from the ancient world, like Egyptian, is also featured. My toddler enjoys looking at the pictures.

Fun, engaging text and stunning child-friendly artwork. High quality books that are build to last. Getting all of these wonderful books for this price feels like a fantastic deal. Perfect for any home or classroom!
