When our recliner-couch popped a control cable I had nightmares of needing to buy a new couch.....and then I found these rather universal-fit replacements. They are actually made of better materials than the original and the fit at both ends and the middle anchor point were perfect. The handle-end "cup" seems to be metal of some sort, better than the original plastic. I had to tip the couch over on its back and use pliers and a screwdriver, but it really wasn't a bad job at all. In liew of a new couch these are a great value and they function perfectly. The two-pack will let me do the other end of the couch when it decides to fail.

These handles are made well. The original handles on our reclining couch were plastic and broke within two months of owning our couch. These are made of a sturdy metal and were very easy to install. It saved a lot of money on a service call and furniture repair!

This is a must buy! But I highly recommend buying the metal handles easy to install I had to file the wood slightly to make a tight fit but works great and great quality! When I buy furniture in the future I’ll just go ahead and buy these at a great price.

I have a Bob's Furniture recliner and these handles looked the same only more durable metal, and measured to be the same size so I gave them a shot. They couldn't fit more perfectly and the quality of the parts is noticeably better than the cheap plastic handles my recliner came stock with. It's honestly impressive I was expecting worse quality because you never know these days with Amazon. Very happy.

Four stars because one (cable) doesn't work, as it's about an inch too long. The other one is threaded on the very last thread in to the handle that just barely opens the latch. Both of these should've been about an inch shorter. The thing that gave me the most problem was the retention clip that snaps into the frame. There are two pinch tabs that need to be pushed inward and then the square clip can be removed. Well this sounds a lot easier than it is. I would've been glad to spend another 5 or 10 bucks if these came with the tool that helps removal of the square clip. Beware of breaking finger nails b/c even my tiniest screw-driver was too big. I had to zip tie part of the cable because the original one was kinked due to poor chair latch design and that is why my original cable broke. Hopefully the zip ties will keep a nice-easy curve so the cable doesn't kink any more. Overall I'm glad I bought two, and the handle being metal sure feels a lot nicer than the plastic version. However, if there is a next time, I will be looking for either a 4.5" or one that has more adjustibility. .

Really like these , Metal parts.. Easy to install...Sure great prices to replace something that the furniture Company charges to come out & repair..Just You Tube & order the right size.. Easy fix!!!

Im not sure if I got lucky or they all use the same type but the handle and cable looked the same and I went with that. Turned out to fit perfectly and work amazing! Super happy to be able to recline in my couch again. 100% worth the cost metal handle seems way higher quality than OEM
