is it good for semi drivers?

If I may interject, if you are 200 lbs plus then this is likely going to be a good fit.  I am and ex-driver I have found this to be a factor to my worsening pressure points in my legs and sciatica.  Those of us that for what ever reason (genetics or exercise) maintain a weight under 200lbs would greatly benefit from the Double Cushion link provided below.  I bought my son who is 100 pounds wet lol the double and I decided to give his a try after having negative response to the "Ultimate".  Don't get me wrong, the Ultimate is the best for those who are much heavier or have a larger caboose in tow, but for light more narrower individuals as myself (@176-198lbs -/+ seasonally lol), it's overkill and actually makes the matter worse in respect to pain and comfort.  If you fall into this category please get the Double, you will not regret it and you'll save a few bucks too.  I have used the Ultimate for 2 years+ and it's still like new which is testament to its durability.

I promise you, I would not have taken the time to write this if I didn't know what I was talking about from personal experience both OTR and @ Home Office during the transitions.

What is the difference between this one and : the royal purple no pressure seat cushion? i want to know if this one is an upgrade to that one

Look at measurments between each, ultimate is wider and thicker. I think it is a upgrade,  However I think you will be happy either way.

is it good for 160 lb female driver?

If it is good for my 250 lb. husband, and it is, I think it would be fine for a 160 lb. woman.
