I grind my teeth like nobody’s business at night. For several years I bought multiple Dentek mouthguards and they worked fine - but then I saw that I could buy sets with more than just one mouthguard and they seemed like much better deals...I started off with another brand that had three thin mouthguards and two thick ones. Well from experience I can say I love that the set is just 3 mm mouthguards and none of the big fat thick 6mm ones! With the thick ones I couldn’t even close my lips when I was sleeping!As the instructions say, with these thin mouthguards you definitely need to wait until the water has stopped boiling for several seconds before you drop the mouthguard in. If you forget to wait and drop it in while it is boiling it is going to melt together and be completely useless. So wait several seconds after it has stopped actually boiling and then drop it in. Also, in my experience it does not take the full 18 seconds it recommends - it’s more like 12 seconds. If you leave it in there too long there is no going back - so err on the side of caution!And lastly, it says to bite down - but for me what works is just using the suction of my mouth along with my tongue and my fingers to press the mouth guard into my top teeth. If I bite down my lower teeth make an indentation in the bottom part of the mouthguard and it forces my teeth into that exact spot every night. By keeping the bottom part fairly smooth my jaw doesn’t get locked into place like that.

I got this for my husband who had started grinding his teeth at nights, he used to wake up with headaches every morning. I read the positive reviews for this product and thought of giving a try. It did work, he woke up this morning and he did not have the headache he was so disturbed with.Just follow the steps and it is very easy to use. I am impressed with the results so far, if anything changes will definitely update here.
