The NCVT-6 is a useful gadget with great potential; however, I've encountered an issue where it starts beeping and malfunctioning after placed on my vest. As I often work outdoors, it's possible that some sweat may have come into contact with the NCVT-6, and it wasn't open , but unfortunately, this has hindered its functionality, as it goes haywire in less than 10 minutes of use , I am not happy at all

Had this for a few days before I tried it, first tried on known live wire seem to work, then tried of plaster board wall for 6M and it gave reading of live wire the whole length of the wall did not matter high or low it was live readings, I knew it was wrong as I only put that wall up last year. Swiftly returned it before it got me into trouble.

A well thought-out design. Things like how it beeps before auto-off, so you don't keep testing things with it switched off. Laser pointer seems like a bit of a novelty, but a little bonus. The dual range is also useful. I've found that the lower range detects capacitive coupling (when an AC cable is close it another cable), so you can switch over to the higher range to eliminate those false-positives.

I use volt tester all the time but when i see a non contact tester and a distant measure it instantly grab my attention. The non contact volt testing feature it's a like a dream, you point at close distant and it detect so convenient. In addition, I need a distant measure too, but only for 20m accuracy is fine it does the job if you want a quick measure. Pretty stoke with this purchase

At last this is my 5th tools that stands harsh construction environment my other tools similar like this I mean original copy broke. Lesson learned that why by cheap one and there's a good quality 👌 one.

appareil facile a utiliser et a transporter, ne prends pas de place, double système de télé-métrage , suivant le point de départ ( soit de la pointe ou de la base de l'appareil pour le comptage) le détecteur de câble sous tension fonctionne avec un bip et lumière de + en + intense quand on se rapproche, très pratique. Dommage qu'il affiche pas la tension trouvée , cela aurait été bien pratique.
