The BEST tasting Crushed tomatoes I have ever used!!! My family is Italian and we use the good stuff, but to me this was better than the good stuff!!

These tomatoes are super tasty. Very easy to make great sauce. Season and simmer. Yumm.

The Hunt's product has emerged as my favorite can of crushed tomatoes. To me, it seems less watery and tastes more like fresh tomatoes than the other brands that I have tried. I have to concede that there is some "grade inflation" in my 5 star rating. There may be some more expensive boutique or imported brands that are more worthy of 5 stars. I have not run across one yet. Other reviewers might reserve 5 stars for organic products. I am not concerned about that. Also, Hunt's is not the only brand I buy. When I shop at Aldi, I pickup their store brand rather than making a second stop at a store that sells Hunt's. If you follow the "5 a day" plan, one 28 ounce can contains 9.9 servings of fruits or vegetables. Update (12/12/24): This item is still my favorite in its category and deserves 5 stars in my opinion. However, buying it on Amazon can be a 1-star experience. Amazon sometimes sends out damaged cans. My local Walmart matches Amazon's price, and I never leave a local store with a damaged can. Update (1/26/25): I ordered six cans from Amazon. Two arrived with obvious damage. A third had a minor dent.

I use these in my chili and my spaghetti sauce recipes and they work great . Hunts is a good name brand and that’s why I bought them .
