Would this help when connecting phone to computer for streamng. I get a horrible buzz sound when connecting phone to computer by usb.

Will this give full 5v power isolation from spikes and noise? Want to make sure it isolates the power as well.

I am using this to run a debug pod, and it works perfectly. It has isolated power WITH AN EFUSE, so it won't burn out if you pull too much power from it. Not sure how much isolation you get from spikes and noise, but it has electrical isolation and it looks like it's good to the rated voltage. I haven't hipotted it, but visually it looks like the design is correct for the specs. High frequency components of spikes and noise will couple through the isolation somewhat, but I don't know how much.
