Best Pen Hands Down
I used a fountain pen previously: I have to fill out a lot of depositions and these must be hand-written. My writing bites, so the fountain pen helped a lot. But, all of the fountain pens leak. I carry a pen with me and def could not do so with the fountain pen. I saw the reviews on Schneider pens so bought a few. I'M HOOKED!! They write very well, are super comfortable to hold, and fit nicely in the pocket and look good. They DO NOT leak. The blue part in the pic is solid and a little grippy, but not soft enough to come apart, really a perfect grip. Now, they are a bit different. The ball is wider than most, and I never liked this in the past. BUT, the control the pen lends when writing is incredible, so now I love this ball point size. My writing is better with this pen than even with the fountain pens I used in the past that were always the easiest for me. Also, the pens are very solidly made and replacement ink cartridges would, for sure, be worth the expense, and I feel with most cheaply-made pens this would not be worth the cost. These pens rock.

OBSESSED with this pen
I havenโt written an Amazon review in ages but am compelled to write one about this pen. I write a lot, primarily notes; I work in the legal profession and am a student. I used to favor the Pilot V Ball Grip for its size and weight (my handwriting is worse with skinner/lighter pens) and slight cushioning, but would sometimes get annoyed by the cap, leaking, and smudging. I tried the Schneider Slider Rage XB when I was testing different pens at McNally Jackson and found it to be the perfect pen for me. Perfect weight and girth, the ink doesnโt smudge, and I donโt have to worry about a cap (or in my experience to date, leaking). Theyโre pricey for appearing to be a โdisposableโ pen but theyโre actually refillable, so I donโt feel guilty for buying them.

Greatest pen ever
Iโm a semi retired physician who never switched to electronic medical records meaning I write copious notes in patients charts for over 30 years. Back in the day when big Pharma was allowed to try to bribe doctors with free pens I never had to buy pens but I also have written with hundreds of different pens, some cheap, some very high quality. When the rules changed such that the pharmaceutical companies could attempt bribery anymore I had to purchase pens but that meant I tried even more different pens, some cheaper, some expensive. I realized I became a pen snob. When I needed to buy some more pens Office Max had one Schneider pen available. At the price I defied the store policy of donโt open the package because if I canโt try it I wonโt buy it. I was blown away. It was almost an out of body experience. You have to be a pen snob to understand this. From that moment forward I have written only with the Slider Rave XB in black. I have purchased probably a dozen packs of 5 over the years and I have them everywhere at the office, at home, Iโm my purse and my office staff used them too. Some reviews say they run out of ink too fast. If you bought through Amazon you may have gotten a knock off. Amazon is well known for allowing this practice. Iโve been using only these pens for over a decade and only have purchased a dozen pens but was writing all day every day and I have only used 2 refills of the package I bought. You have to consider the life of the item with the cost because cheaper pens run dry way quicker. Some people say they leave blots and o think those are knock offs. How can the same pen provide such different experiences? Mostly all 5 star reviews then a one star because itโs too expensive or it ran dry. I think my decades of writing with hundreds of different pens then 5x12=60 pens that an entire office staff used and I wrote with exclusively and I write copious notes. 60 pens used 5-6 days a week at the office and 7 days a week at home over 10 years abd Iโve only had to refill 2 pens? This is the best pen. Itโs my dream pen and all the 5 star reviews are accurate. If you think a Bic pen is equal in quality perhaps you donโt have an appreciation of tactile experiences. If theyโve run dry quickly youโve gotten a knock off. I buy only from the Schneider store itself. Not from Amazon. And, I support this company because it is so environmentally forward and have philosophies that most companies donโt have. They walk the walk. Employing special needs people to package the pens is proof. The technology is typical top notch German technology. I will always support this company and will never write with any other pen to the end of my life. Thatโs how great they are.

I'M A PEN FREAK!!!
I can't help it! Like most people, I have a favorite, comfortable pen (or 20)!!! I recently purchased these pens due to other reviews. I wanted a comfortable grip, wider than a stick pen, but not like a jumbo crayon! Needed to be a smooth glide, PLEASE, no scratching sounds from the paper contact! I also didn't want to spend a lot! This pen hits every one of my wants! Each ok. holds 5 pens. The cost was $3.13 each. The grip is smooth blue, slightly rubberized feel with the barrel at the grip being a little wider for comfort! Point is bold, but not smudgy! Smooth, clean writing lines! Really comfortable!

Smoot writing pen
These are my favorite pens. With having arthritis I need a pen that won't slip out of my hand and is a little thicker. Easy to write with and writes smooth. I like to stock up on these pens as it seems everytime I find something that works for me, when I need more of something they are no where to be f ound.

The smoothest ball point Iโve ever had BUT bad ink flow
I bought these because Iโm a pen snob. The type of person that only lets people borrow pens that I donโt like. If I only have my good pens on me, I tell them I donโt have one. Cause they steal them. Anyway, I digress. Wonderful pen if youโre looking for a smooth writer. But the ink flow isnโt good. Itโs a ball point pen. Not a rollergel. If they had this penโs smoothness with the ink flow of an energel or pilot v7 or v10, even a G2, I would be sold and this would be my new favorite pen. Iโm looking through their rollergel line to see if I can find one that will be my endgame pens. But after $25 for these Iโm cautious. For now, these go in the the loan out pocket.

These. Are. AMAZING.
I have a pen addiction, freely admitted. I also have arthritis and carpal tunnel with an unsuccessful surgery to prove it. Needless to say no matter what I write with, how I hold the pen, whatever kind of pen it is or what I do, I always have pain. I always have cramping. I simply ordered these because I like the rubberized finish on pens. It makes them easier to hold, but I was not holding out for any kind of great results for anything. I expected nothing. Nothing ever helps meโฆ.except THESE!!!!!! Now granted, these are not a miracle cure for hand problems, BUT I did catch myself writing longer and with less hand fatigue than anything I have tried, and folks, Iโve tried them all. Grippy, non-grippy, fat, contoured, heavy, skinnyโฆEV-ERY-THING. I actually kind of surprised myself when I got to the bottom of a full sheet of paper, and my writing was legible, it all looked the same, and I had miraculously written an entire page with very little discomfort. That hasnโt happened in a very, very long time. The ink is so unbelievably smooth. Almost no friction on paper at all. You would almost not believe the pen was touching the paper, unless you looked to make sure you were leaving a line behind. I purchased these in June and decided to wait until October to write this review in case the effects wore off. They didnโt. As I type this, I have now added six more 5 count packages to my cart. Granted, thatโs a lot of money, but now that I found something that works, I have to make sure that I have a supply. It seems like companies change designs all the time. I canโt afford to lose this. If you decide to buy these, I hope you have the most amazing results like I did. If you are in the same boat, as I am, you understand how terrible it is. Watching other people write constantly page after page, and me not being able to get through a few lines without shaking my hands. Well, thatโs not me anymore and I hope it works for you.
