Everything hooked up fine and worked as it should. Great value

I installed it using the 'top' (i.e., load) lugs instead of the 'bottom' (i.e., power) lugs and it did not work at all. I put in for a refund. I ass - u- me[d] that the power to load lugs were on common node on each side (i.e., the black wire side were internally connected power to load lugs, and the white wire were internally connected power to load lugs). The white wire, and I was using the push in and tighten clamps as opposed to wrapping around the screw and tightening, pulled out of the back of the unit, so it obviously was not properly gripping. I moved the wires from the load side to the power side (the top to the bottom of the unit oriented such that when you look at the front face, the plugs look like little faces) and the unit came to life after switching the main breaker back on. It works like a charm. I'm keeping the return and paying for it for a spare.

The item description says "Used-Mint", while the item is used, as expected, it is not mint condition. The wall plate has some minor scratches and was missing a screw. The outlet had marrs on the ends from a careless previous install, but not noticeable once the plate is installed. Other than that it is in good condition and functions as intended.

Great quality gfi at a crazy good price.

I had a few weeks before installation. When handyman installed all seemed alright. That night I noticed "red light life end alarm" (to right of green light) blinking about ever 75 seconds. I called handyman who had installed and he suggested I replace with Leviton GFCI outlet. I had him do this and there has been no problem. I would appreciate refund but this no longer seems to be an option (purchased October 27)
