I bought these for a cylinder head porting job to clean up after grinding with a burr and sanding with flap wheels. They’re very good on aluminium and leave a smooth ‘satin’ finish, just what you want for head porting. If you want a mirror finish then finish off with felt polishers and metal polishing compound. They don’t last particularly long, but I only used about 10 to finish off a 16-valve head. One think worth noting, they come in four supposedly different grades with different colours but I could find absolutely no difference between any of them! All left exactly the same finish.

They fit drimel and good value

I bought these to reach those hard to reach places on motorcycle. casings etc. They are great at removing built in and hardened dirt. They don't appear to damage the alloy at all. They are a great way of starting the polishing process. When running them you do needvto keep the speed of the dremel down as it appears to wear the wheel down too quickly. But if you keep the speed down they last a good while. For the money they offer a good way to reach some hard to reach places.

Ok for light cleaning / polishing. Wear out quite quickly and produce a lot of dust ( ie bits of the abrasive wheels themselves). They are like tufts of scotch brite stuck to steel. They work, but don't expect much 'abrading' more cleaning ) polishing. Cheap enough to make them worthwhile.

These are very good. However they do wear down quickly.

Been testing all kinds of bits to get steel to look shiny after welding. Most things tend to polish it, such as grinding stones, metal grinding and milling bits, even sanding discs and flap discs. Even my wire brushes tend to put a sheen back into dull metal, so I was expecting the same from these. They seem to be good and shaping the surface slightly of irregular shapes, and removing scratches and surface marks, however even the black one which is 320 grit I believe tends to put a dull matt on it, and I have to polish up after. My sanding discs are 320 grit and they make it look reflective. Not sure why these dull the surface. Still worth buying for my needs as an extra step to get a good finish after removing impurities and scratches.

Just used once but done the job good

This is my second order of this product. They are very useful for small cleaning jobs. They do wear out quite quickly, but are relatively inexpensive, especially compared to Dremel own brand. 5 star based on cost and usefulness. They should be used at low speed, with not too much pressure.

Nie nadają się do obróbki metalu, ścierniwo z bardzo słabego materiału, po 30s pracy jest do wyrzucenia

Produit efficace, plusieurs degrés de " décapage " et endurance assez correcte de chaque brosse rotative.

Die Schleifer haben zwar eine deutlich geringere Standzeit als zum Beispiel Fächerschleifer. Aber trotzdem für viele feine Schleifarbeiten gut geeignet.
