These are great for spending time out in the snow. I’ve used them for multi day, ice climbing adventures in the white mountains.

Helps my sensitive eyes

Lenses are good so far. Frames slowly fall off face without much effort when looking down. Not enough temple grip. Never happened with Oakley’s to be honest. Worst part is the removable side shields. Lost one of them after just a month of ownership - $25 replacement! They pop off too easily. I never removed the shields but they are right where you naturally grip sunglasses so I suspect they just loosened over time and popped off. It’s a poor design by Julbo on an otherwise good frame.

They're good glasses, nice and dark. They do a great job of cutting glare from sand dunes, including side protection. I might have a strange shaped head or something though. I couldn't seem to get these to stay on my face. The included band to keep them cinched was a bit too small for my head and made them fit uncomfortably tight.

The "reactive" photochromic doesn't work. I covered one lens and left them outside. Came back, took them inside and looked through them from a distance. There was no difference. The uncovered lens was no darker. That said the fit and feel was great I will probably just by a pair of cat4 and call it a day. Wish theu actually worked though.

Light weight, scratch resistant. These held up very well to daily use on recent trek

Julbo never disappoints. I have worn them for years and they just work for me. They protect my eyes and always keep the worst out, and still look good. I am blown away with how the lenses adjust to light and always seem to be right for the conditions.

Dopo un anno di utilizzo: aggiorno la recensione e tolgo una stella. Un paio di occhiali cat. 4 che utilizzo sia d'inverno su neve assolata che d'estate in quota durante alpinismo e trekking. Non mi piacciono come stile né mi piace la plastica del frame ma nulla da eccepire come efficacia. Il campo visivo è ampio, gli occhiali restano ben fermi anche in caso di folate di vento forte. Sono leggeri e per essere occhiali col frame occupano poco spazio. Cosa mi è piaciuto di meno Le lenti purtroppo sono sensibili ai graffi, troppo sensibili. Le stanghette da chiuse poggiano all'interno della lente, segnandola purtroppo. Sono rimasto un pò deluso dalle dotazioni: niente sacchetto o custodia....con quello che costano mi aspettavo di più.
