Lost one twice already *by I***N on Reviewed in the United States on 21 November 2013* This is the only backrest I have ever found that really does the job. I travel a lot and I take it on every plane ride also. Some of the seats in my cars do not need this back rest so I don't use it with every car. I have some older cars and some newer also. The VW Jetta actually didn't work nicely because of the shape of the seat. My old 92 Benz 400e is so comfortable I don't use it there either. My 2003 Chev Express I use it every time. I also use it on some of the chairs in our office. It fits in all the airline seats - even in some nasty economy seats I get stuck using - you just need to shove it in there. Another interesting use is if I am driving and get tired - when I pull over to the side of the road to sleep - I recline the seat back and pull it up behind my neck and it really works to support your head and neck when you are sleeping in the car. One thing to watch for that has happened to me more than a few times is that because it is sitting behind you on the seat - you will forget it and leave it behind. I have to run back and get it or someone sees me leave it and grabs it to bring it to me. I had a total loss on one of them in a rental car. Hope that doesn't happen again. I have been using these since 2006 when a chiropractor told me about them. He also said it was the only one that really worked. I agree and definitely recommend it. Keep in mind, it takes a bit of getting used to so you need to be open to using it till you are familiar with it. I spend my days in my Hoveround chair and my back suffers from the constant sitting.
