I recorded my Moms heartbeat from a baby doppler machine with this heart for my Dad as a surprise. After she had passed, I made a pillow out of one of her shirts with this inside the pillow. He loves it. Presses the heart inside the pillow when he wants to remember and feel close to her.

Got this to put in a stuffed animal as a sweet but silly farewell gift to a great manager. Easy enough to use and get the job done.

I put one inside my fluffy knit with the Welcome back Kotter theme song. These are great!

I use these recorders to trick the telemarketers and scammers that call by playing a recording of the disconnected phone message when I pick up, thus having them remove me from their list of active numbers by making them believe my number has been disconnected.I first bought a more traditional recorder to do this since I thought it would have better audio quality but it would take too long for the device to turn on when I would receive a call and by the time I was ready to play the message the caller had already hung up. So I decided to try something like this where I just need to press one button to get the recording to play immediately. Also, the heart design was too cute to pass up.The few times (maybe once or twice) I managed to trick a telemarketer with the more traditional audio recorder, they hung up almost immediately. When I use this item, however, sometimes they hang up immediately and sometimes they stay on the line for much longer, about 20 seconds. I’m not sure if it’s because the audio that plays on this recorder is not as good and therefore probably doesn’t trick the telemarketer, or if it depends on how long it takes for you to pick up and have the recording ready. Still, I do seem to be getting less calls, so it does seem to be working especially since I have this recorder ready to play on my nightstand.Another thing I really like is you can stop the recording by pressing the button again. So I don’t have to sit there listening to 30 seconds of the disconnected phone message after the telemarketer has already hung up or if I accidentally press the device.Whatever you buy this item for, the instructions are easy to follow, this item came with batteries, it likely works for the purpose it was actually built for, and seems to have a great second use if you buy more than one. These are all great features that make the item earn its 5 stars in my book.

Overall it's a great replacement bear recorder. The heart was more difficult to program than necessary. but by no means impossible.

Recorded my two year old’s voice for my husband. It was very easy to use and he loved it.

Loud, clear, cute design, and easy to use. I don't have any comments on battery yet. I'm only disappointed because they fail to mention that you can only re-record so many times before you cant record again at all :(Update:I realized that when you reach this issue, it can be easily fixed by switching over to playback instead, holding that for a few seconds, and then switching back over to record. I didn't need to do this the first few recordings, so it made it a bit confusing.No other complaints!

I got these and sewed them into teddy bears for my parents when they were sick in hospital. They LOVED them and I was able to record each of their voices without having to go into a build a bear location. I was able to pick out the stuffys and it was super easy to use. A gift that will last a lifetime!

Brings the magic to life! In my book, these are a total must-have for any custom gift. I used them for my kids' stuffed animals and it truly makes the magic come alive. There is something so special about a 'stuffy' that speaks in a loved one’s voice. They are incredibly easy to use, and the 30-second recording time is perfect for a sweet message. Highly recommend for creating a lifelong keepsake!

I thought they would be easy to record a message on, and with almost no instruction my 6 and 8 year old had 0 issues. Sound was clear, even when placed inside a stuffed animal. Did not test if it saved the recording if the batteries died, but based on the quality of the product and ease of use, I am confident it will.

Battery didn’t last long

I put it in a stuffed animal and it can be hard to press properly. You have to squeeze evenly/ face on which isnt always ideal when you have to feel around for it. Often only one half gets squeezed by my son and the sound glitches
