BRILLIANT ROLLATOR and I Received a Refund for the V.A.T.
I just love this Rollator. I am a 76-year-old lady and have osteo-arthritis all over my body (including my hands) - and need two new hips and knees - so I need as much help as I can get. This is the third walker I have owned. The first was a cage with a bag - very unstable and scary. I disposed of that and bought a Carlett 900. This is also fantastic - very sturdy with a solid seat and large capacity bag for shopping - yet it is rather cumbersome and doesn't fold easily. I will keep it for shopping purposes alone - but I needed a more lightweight one to take on the bus, attend hospital appointments and put in the boot of a friend's car. I had considered this one for a while - but the cost seemed rather high for an additional walker. However, now I have purchased it - I think it is worth every penny. The cost of all walkers has increased a lot recently - so this one doesn't seem that bad now - especially if you can claim the V.A.T. back. I managed to get a refund for the V.A.T. by requesting this from Amazon. As we all say - it is so incredibly light and beautifully engineered. I thought perhaps it would be too flimsy - and just a 'fashion accessory' for the rich and disabled - but no. I feel as confident pushing this as I do with my Carlett - more so, in fact, because it easier to fit into confined spaces - and you can slightly fold it and yet still feel confident that it will not wobble or fall over. It must be the only rollator that does not fall over when folded - without even using the strap. I live in a flat and have many stairs to negotiate - and I have to bump my Carlett all the way down - and get someone to help me to get it back up again when full of shopping. With the byAcre one I do not have the additional weight of my shopping and so can manoeuvre it slowly up and down the stairs - and store it in a small space. Did I mention it is beautiful? I always felt odd in my skinny jeans and modern clothes - using a walker! But now with my bright red byAcre Ultralight I feel confident again. The psychological aspect cannot be overestimated. So considering the beautiful design, and lightweight practicality - I highly recommend this rollator - you can try it for 30 days anyway and see if it meets your needs.

Superb Rollator but not recommended for people of larger build as it is light & might just topple!
Highly recommended - so light & easy to manoeuvre - delighted with it! I'm waiting for a knee replacement & I've found it invaluable for support & balance.

Helps me to walk further and faster without pain
This rollator is light, made of carbon fibre, easy to handle, fold and store. It helps me walk further and faster without pain. It is easy to handle with good brakes, turns very well and has a handy seat to allow for a rest. It also has a handy small bag to carry phone, keys etc. This is my new best friend when out walking, it is also very stylish as well as practical, I love it.

Byacre Rollator
I am under 5ft and this rollator is light to pick up and put in the back of my car. The quality is excellent. I bought the compact size which is ideal for me as l am slim. It is a bit more expensive than others advertised but it is lighter to control

Some mixed views
I have just taken delivery of my new rollator and gone shopping with it. First reactions are somewhat mixed though generally favourable. While the elegant design is made much of in the publicity, functionality for me is much more significant. The frequently commented on lightness will be of help in using public transport but comes at the cost of skittering on poorly maintained footpaths. It also seemed more difficult to steer than I had expected and the brakes are not very effective since the wheels slide easily on the surface despite being locked. The seat was splendid. Since a number of reviews had expressed concern about its narrowness, I bought the wide version with some trepidation but although being a 5 ft 10 height and 83 kg weight man, found it most comfortable. In view of the need to carry shopping I almost bought one of the bags on offer but tried first a small backpack already owned. This, at a quarter of the price, worked very well, fitting over the handle bars easily without upsetting the stability of the device. So, overall, provided it is durable in use, seems a sound if some what pricy buy and I recommend it to you.

A light very well designed Rollator - impressive to look at!
Received this very well designed Rollator (the Porsche of zimmer frames!) yesterday morning, only having ordered it the previous afternoon (so less than 24 hours later). It functions very well, and its low weight is a key part of this - because I can simply lift it up (wide) steps and kerbs, where it can then support me as I climb. This is as opposed to the heavier rollators that I tested with the slightly tricky process of leaning the device backwards to angle the front wheels onto the step etc. Stability is good - I feel perfectly secure using it, which I did have concern about before ordering. But I needn’t have worried. The V shaped carbon fibre design acts as a shock absorber, flexing slightly as it moves - this adds to the stability. I have tested it on pavement and rough knobbly grass - ie it functions perfectly well off-road. I ordered the Regular Ultralight. I am a slim build male and it is a snug fit when I sit on the seat - there is not much spare space either side. I did think of buying the slimmer model, but I am glad I didn’t! The seat is perfect height for me - I am 5 foot 9 inches tall. It is very easy to adjust the handle height - just press the button on the side of the arm and pull or push the arm up or down until it clicks into place. The small bag that comes with ultralight is easy to fit. It comes with a strap if you want to carry it over your shoulder. One quibble (and it is certainly no deal breaker) is that there is no clip to keep the Ultralight folded when lifting in or out of a vehicle etc. It’s an easy fix though - using an elastic band or hair band. This is quite an expensive device, but it is the same price range as all the other carbon fibre Rollators - and compared to the three I tested in the local disability shop it is not only the best visual design but it also the lightest. The Which Best Buy (as claimed by the salesman) in the shop was almost twice the weight of the Ultralight!

Not for the overweight
I bought the wide size - light and modern but definitely not for anyone carrying too much weight. I’m a size 20 and only just manage to squeeze on the seat. The backrest was a waste of money as makes it worse, forcing you forward and rendering the seat unusable.

Great bit of kit
Although expense, it is a wonderful piece of kit. My 90 year old mum is now able to move around independently with peace of mind

Fabulous!!!
Beautiful, lightweight and made a night and day difference in compliance with my mom who refused to use her old clunky, heavy one. She says this one makes her life easier instead of harder.
