24 ports, not counting the port to connect to your ISP
Works like a charm, quiet, not managed, great value and not one of the brands which might have a security compromise to a foreign state, sorry if that sound paranoid. Literally could not have been more plug and play! I even saw a performance bump, but that could have been simply because this was a “freshly booted switch” and brand new. I replaced a 16 port switch I had prior and for less than $100 ($79 before tax to be specific).

Great!
Worked great as a dummy switch to provide internet to all my devices through ethernet. This thing is super quiet anf you get great speeds. It wasnt overly expensive compared to others, and the connectivity was easy to setup. It's compact size made it easy to install in my office.

Great Switch for a Great Price
I was running an 8-port Netgear switch along with 4 more on the router. When I built the house 10 years ago, I had Ethernet hardwired throughout the house but couldn't connect all of the nodes due to a lack of switch capacity. This 24-port switch was not much more expensive than adding another 8-port switch. So, I purchased this unit while also upgrading to a Netgear Orbi mesh wi-fi system. This switch allowed me to connect all nodes while cleaning up the cables in the closet. It also allowed me to hardwire the Backhaul connection for the Mesh satellites, including the Ethernet run to my out-building, 100 ft from the house. I'm very happy with the entire setup.

NETGEAR 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch Reviewed by Users - Mixed Results
I am a PC gaming enthusiast and I have owned a lot of routers in my lifetime. I was looking for a router that was easy to set up and reliable, and I had heard good things about the NETGEAR 24-Port Gigabit Ethernet Unmanaged Switch. The router was well packaged and came with all the instructions I needed, including how to download the configuration app. The app was easy to use and I was able to find every setting I wanted in just a few minutes. The router also has a non-standard IP address which I appreciate from a security perspective. However, I did have some issues with the router. I had to manually turn on the AX mode and force split networks if I wanted a 2.4 and 5 GHz network running. I also had to manually enable the hidden network SSID. The router has good antennas that attach securely and are thicker at the connection pin than my old router. The wifi signal on my PS5 improved from 85-90% to 98-100% after switching to this router. I am a fan of Netgear switches and routers, but I did run into a problem with the GS305. The switch can't handle high throughput channels and I experienced random, intermittent connectivity timeout issues when I connected IP cameras to the switch. I am currently testing a GS308 to see if it performs better. Another user experienced a failure in the ethernet connection after 45 days of use. Despite trying everything on the Netgear support page, the issue couldn't be resolved and the user had to switch back to their old Netgear Nighthawk Router.

GS324 Dimensions - 9.92 x 7.09 x 1.73 inches
For some reason, the dimensions listed for the GS324 24-port switch are the dimensions of the cardboard box it ships in, not the dimensions of the switch itself. The dimensions of the GS324 switch are: • 9.92 x 7.09 x 1.73 inches • 252 x 180 x 44 mm Three additional notes: 1. The GS324 switch doesn't use an external AC to DC power supply; the power supply is internal to the switch and it uses a standard removable 3-prong power cord (NEMA 5-15P to IEC C13). 2. Hardware is included to mount the GS324 switch to a wall, brackets for rack mounting, and rubber feet if the switch will be sitting on a flat surface. 3. The instructions for the switch say that it should be mounted HORIZONTALLY, but hardware is included to mount the switch (vertically) to a wall. The horizontal mounting advice in the instructions may be due to thermal considerations (this unit doesn't have a fan), but hard to know whether there would be any performance issues if mounted on a wall/vertically. Seems unlikely, but it was interesting to see the note in the instructions.
