LAURA GELLER Spackle Makeup Primer, Ethereal Rose Glow - 2 Fl Oz

Really love this primer! It’s a lot more lightweight than I’d consider something called a spackle and that’s not a bad thing! I like wearing it on its own without foundation for a natural minimal makeup look. I just ordered it in bronze to try for summer. I used the rose under my wedding makeup and it added a nice glow.

This review is for AURA GELLER NEW YORK Spackle Primer - Ethereal Rose Glow. As a primer, I would give this only 3-4 stars. For those of us with dryer skin (especially in Winter), this primer is not be substantial enough. My Winter skin sucked it in so I gained no moistening benefit.HOWEVER, as a no 'make-up day' skin finishing product, this is awesome. If in a hurry, I'll cleans , moisturize and wear this spackle alone (no foundation). It offers just enough color, glow and moisture that I need nothing else. My skin does suck up the moisture but I'm left with a barely there glow that blurs imperfections without looking garish.There are no sparkles whatsoever. And unlike other "glow" products, I've had no reactions whatsoever.One other tip...if you have a liquid matte foundation that is too matte for Winter or if you just want to make one more "glowy". Add a 1/2 teaspoon of this to the foundation for a radiant finish.

Good product. The Rose Glow gives my face a subtle illumination that is quite flattering. (I am 74.) After a moisturizing sunscreen, I apply the Rose Gold spackling all over my face. Let it dry for at least one minute. Apply foundation. I am glad I bought it.The pump is defective. After a couple of uses, it fell apart. I now pour the product on the back of my left hand, and use my fingers to apply.

This stuff is amazing

Well, I must admit to being disappointed. If you don't fit into the category of "mature skin", scroll on.The product is called "Spackle". Based on that, I'm expecting some coverage here - dark spots and some line-filling - as well as moisturizing. The product applies smoothly and feels comfortable. The Ethereal Rose Glow has a gold glittery appearance. Once I applied foundation, the glittery effect was subdued, thank goodness (I'm not one to sport glitter on my face). Bottom line - this product does nothing that my current primer doesn't already do (which is not enough, hence the search for a new one). At the $28 price tag, I'm expecting better results.

I’ve been a consistent user of this product for about a year now. I first apply a thin facial moisturizer, then a moderate amount of this product, covering my entire face and let this dry. Then I apply foundation. Every other product advertised to do the same thing, keep my makeup in place and last for an 8 hour day, has failed. This product works better than any other. While it doesn’t last the entire day, it works very well for the first have of the day and then adequate for the second half (of an 8 hour day). It will not last for much longer than a workday. If I am going somewhere after work, I would need to reapply my makeup or my rosacea starts peeking through. I am very happy with this product. No breakouts, dry skin, irritation or other negative side effect at all. I will continue to use this, unless something miraculous comes on the market that doesn’t break the bank. This is a good investment. I have tried all the shades as well and the champagne is my favorite. Just a bit of glow!

Love, love, love this stuff. It smooths out the lines and makes the pores invisible. If using with foundation, let it dry well on your face before applying. When you remove your makeup, your skin feels soft and smooth. Some folks may find the price a little high, but I think it is well worth it. I absolutely will continue to purchase. this product.

This is great I use under my make up and on its own as makes my skin glow and feels nice on. Leave my skin feeling soft after removal too.

The primer is great and a fantastic colour with a bit of sparkle - only reason it doesn’t get a 5* is because the pump doesn’t work so I have to keep using it direct from the tube!Should have returned it but had opened it on holiday and started using it.
