Review: I bought it for an upgrade on a cheap whistle i had bought previously. I purchased for around £50 which is half the price of the RRP. I still think this is quite expensive for a whistle that sounds like a train. Having said that it does seem to be built to last and the sound is very authentic and loud. Cant complain really as it does everything i expected it to do but better. Because to me her friend's whistle seemed rather flimsy I decided to buy something solid. I am glad I did. I step on it sometimes and the metal does not even bend. The flute is no longer wanted or needed when you can play the drum and whistle at the same time.The whistle sounds nice and strong. Sometimes I must send kinds out when I need to make a phone call, so this toy is now for outdoor play only. They scare cats and dogs with it and some innocent bystanders too. It withstands rough play and it is still nice and shiny like German cutlery but there is one thing I would change. It is the black colour of the strap that makes it difficult to find.
