It is approximately 24 hours. The string must be dry and hard before you remove the mylar balloon inside. Using things like a fan or hair dryer can speed up the process as needed.

What size is the balloon

15” X 15” it’s a medium size Mylar balloon. But once you complete the craft with the lights it’s a 18” X 18” star light.

It's yarn. You can buy it most anywhere.

Can you reuse the balloon?

I couldn't, Infact the balloon that came popped right away and I had to go buy another and the string was all glued and messy.
