These are the perfect size for the Retro 51 Tornado. Writes smoothly and easier and cheaper to find then official refills. They also come in different tip sizes which I love.

I like these rollerball refills, and find that they don’t smear nearly as much as traditional rollerballs. They do not track a perfect line if you write straight up and down. They tend to glob and then skip a bit. Bought these for my wife’s Kaweco Sport, but these don’t work with her straight-up-and-down writing style. They work great for me, though, as I write at a pretty narrow angle.

I wish I could say this refill made my handwriting beatific or infused me with so much writing skill that I penned a novel worth a literature prize. Howevah, I cannot. What I can say is that it is a beautiful color of blue and fit my pen from Karas Kustoms perfectly.

Although more expensive than other brands, these are great. Smoothe-writing and I like the fact that they will not dry out if left exposed (non-retracted into the pen) for up to a year. I always retract - well, almost always - so this has not bee an issue for me, but I have had other brand cartridges dry out. Schmidt refills are the way to go if they fit your pen. Make sure you get the correct length.
