actually if you go to amazon.com/wooden bases you should be able to see one

does the figurine come mounted on the black oval base?

My figureine did not come with a base. I tried contacting the company to see if it was a mishap but didn’t hear back. It seems like some people have received theirs with a base but maybe they just got lucky!
