I had been on birth control for over a decade and decided to give my body a break. I hadn’t had a natural period since my teens, and honestly didn’t remember what the process was like. I wanted to get to know my body and cycles again, so I got these. I wanted to gauge how long I was, when I would ovulate, just to see where I was. I have used these for about 2+ years and they always are accurate, because I am one of those females that can feel ovulation as it’s happening 😖😩 down to the hour! Super painful! I would take these tests around day 10 to see what was brewing and the tests would get darker as the days went on. Right before and on ovulation day, the tests were super dark! As soon as the ovulation pain and a few hours passed, I’d take a test and the line was automatically lighter. That was proof right there that these are accurate, because I could (unfortunately) match it up with the symptoms! They work!

I bought the 100 Pack of Ovulation strips only. I bought 100 so I don't have to worry about not having enough strips if I test 2 times a day and wont have to keep buying strips every month or two as it works out more expensive. I only started trying to concieve and realized the two months I bought Ovulations tests (25 in a box) worked out expensive as I was testing twice a day waiting for a surge and had apent $20 in 2 months. So why not buy 100 strips for $20.95 instead so I dont have to worry. Anyways after 2 months we stopped due to personal problems but I still have these on hand. I am able to monitor my Ovulation. These strips give a very clear reading and I like the width of these strips. Many Ovulation strips are thin and fall out of my hands. These are wider than most and you dont have to questions whether it is a negative or positive. Remember that both lines must be as dark as each other for the Test to be Positive. This month I had a Blazing Positive for 3 days in a row. Dont worry about how many days you get a Positive, just know that you go by your first Positive. Once you get that first Positive, it means you are will Ovulate within the next 12-48 hours. If you do keep testing after the first Positive, and it keeps showing Positive, it doesnt really mean anything apart from the fact that you are in the process of Ovulating and catching your surge asit goes back down but its the first Positive that counts. This cycle I tested on CD9 and it was a negative. I tested on CD10 and it was a blazing Positive. Well I have a 28 day cycle and wasnt expecting a Positive until CD14-15 as that is in the middle of my cycle. So I monitored and noticed on CD11 I still had a blazing positive but in the afternoon of CD11, I noticed the cramping on one side and I had lower back pain and realized I must be releasing my egg. I had the discomfort until the next day on the afternoon, roughly 24 hours. I tested again on that day CD12 knowing Ovulation has occurred and it was still a Positive but when I tested in the evening the Test came back negative. Trust the signs your body gives and follow that but Ovulalation strips are very helpful. Also remember to test between 10am-8pm around the same time each day. Do not use first morning urine as this does not work like a Pregnancy Test. The Package should have came in a Box and not in a padded envelope as you can see the state of the contents in the Pics. The envelope was opened too which may have been during the delivery process, someone got nosey.

I am so excited about these OPK’s. Sidenote: these are the first ones I have tied so I can’t speak of their accuracy in comparison to other brands. Backstory: I am 32 years old, I have had 3 babies (all in my 20’s) and my husband has had a vesectomy. We have since agreed that we want more children and therefore my husband will need a reversal. After my latest birth (3.5 years ago) I have since tested on the border of a thyroid issue and understand that this can add further complications for a woman trying to conceive as it can interfere with a woman’s cycle. Before we schedule the expensive VR I wanted to be sure I was ovulating properly as my cycle has recently been less than regular; late, early, short and long. Now for the tests: In an attempt to become familiar I took the tests everyday starting the day before my period... resulting in various levels of LH. The line at times was very close to the test strip, causing me a fair amount of frustration as it wasn’t clear if it matched the darkness of the test line or not. I was ready to throw in the towel after numerous days of this but then figured since I had already paid for them I would “stick” it out for a full month. Around day 7 of my cycle my cervical fluid was on the high and cramping was starting (which I previously believed was an indication of ovulation) but this was the first time my LH level tested low, still present, but low. The test then gradually got fainter until day 11 when it begun to get darker... then BAM on day 12 I got a very clear and defined dark line (tested 4 different times of the day). The test line was the lightest it has ever been, making it even easier to determine I was in fact testing positive for high LH. Interesting as my cramps at this point had begun to disappear and my CF was also diminishing. I would never have determined my surge without these tests, as my previous assumptions proved to be all wrong. Apparently an increase in fluid and cramping appears, for me, FIVE whole days before my surge!!! I am so pleased with these tests and urge any woman trying to determine if they are ovulating and when to use these! Tip: start testing the first day your period stops, you will waste a fair amount of strips but you will have a clear understanding of your levels. Also, keep in mind you will always have varying levels of LH in your urine BUT it will be very clear when the test is positive.

LOVE THESE! I had previously used the Clear Blue Easy Ovulation tests when I was trying to conceive… and well, I got pregnant immediately! So those work… now that I am postpartum, I didn’t want to go back on birth control. TMI - I had an IUD that was great, as no other BC agreed with me. I didn’t want to have an IUD placed for a short amount of time. We’re planning to try for another baby soon enough. So I was looking for a cheaper way to know when I’m ovulating to keep from getting pregnant for a while. But these work so well (now that I figured them out), that I plan to use them when I’m trying to conceive again! Initially, I was using one test in the morning, and reading it immediately after peeing on the stick, as I read a review that said her results were immediate. I was getting discouraged and thought maybe I wasn’t ovulating yet/again after baby?? This month I started testing every pee a couple days after my period. Then I was leaving the tests lined up to see the difference. I started seeing some tests look different after I’d come back into the bathroom later. My test results are NOT immediate, but are definitely showing up. And I now know I’m ovulating again! I was testing every few times I peed, and when I saw a subtle line appearing, I started testing every time I peed in order to *catch* exactly when I ovulated. I was able to get a MORE accurate result this way than with the Clear Blue Easy! I learned when ovulation was very close by the intensity of the line, and that I fully ovulated at about 10pm at night. And then I was also able to see when ovulation had passed. This will be very helpful when I go to conceive again!! If you’re looking for an inexpensive test to get pregnant (or not!), these are wonderful! Just follow the directions!
