Q: Is this an internal feed airbrush?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding the question, but it is a bottom feed (as opposed to gravity feed) internal mix (as opposed to external mix) airbrush. I have several airbrushes and I find that this one works very well. Oddly though, I've been using spray cans more than airbrushes. It has nothing to do with the quality of the airbrushes, just a matter of convenience.

around 35 to 40. metallics may need more. they can stop up your air brush.

Q: how does the badger 150 compare to the paache vl series

I prefer the Badger over the Paache the ease of use and cleaning of the Badger makes it a winner. Even though there are newer and fancier Badger brushes, I still run back to my tried and true 150. You cannot go wrong.
