Does its job perfectly
I'm sometimes sceptical of some of the unusual name brands, but these are good quality, sturdy and value for money casters. I've fitted them to the legs on my pool table so it's easy to move against the wall when not in use to make more space and it's perfect for that because the lever allows me to then lower it wherever I want it. The instructions are fine, but be aware of the two different size bolts because the difference is subtle. Fitting was easy using the screws provided, because there's a paper template for driving some pilot holes in the wood. Make sure you use the template up the right way and all will be fine. Overall I'm very pleased with these and their work smoothly.

Do exactly what they are meant to do
After reading the other reviews I decided to ditch the supplied screws straight away (they were indeed cheap aluminium screws) as my bench is a particularly heavy Roubo style. I instead opted for some 5x50 Spax that I already had in my workshop. I fitted the first caster using the supplied template. It looks like you're meant to trim the template down to a dotted line representing the floor, but other reviews mentioned that they felt the casters were fitted too low, so I left the template untrimmed. That positioned the first one perfectly. Given the design, you have to lower each caster one at a time, so I figured I'd see if the single caster could lift my bench. No problem at all. Lifted it as though it weighed nothing at all. Lowering it back down was a bit of a think, but if you support the weight of your bench a little when doing the last caster on each side, it doesn't crash down quite so easily. Fitted the rest, and I'm very pleased with them. Would highly recommend them and would suggest replacing the screws/using the template as-is to get the most out of them.

Mostly great casters, terrible instructions
The instructions are terrible. There's two diagrams showing parts and then an assembled caster. It's not hard to work out how to assemble them, with one exception. It's not clear which way up the base plate into which the caster itself is inserted. So, here's my advice, 1. Attach the mounting brackets to your legs before you do anything else. 2. Use your own wood screws. 3. Use the template without cutting any of it off (like another reviewer I didn't and they fit perfectly, they would have been too low if I'd cut the template). 4. Once the bracket is attached, place the base plate next, flat side down, flanges up. 5. Attach the caster to the base pate. 6. Attach the lifter peddle. Overall excellent. However, 1. When lowering the legs, if the caster is facing inwards, it won't lower fully and you'll need to 'kick' it around a little. 2. They really do stick out a long way, I know this is probably unavoidable, but be conscious about where you attach them, they're going to be easy to trip over.

Casters and screws very well designed.
Very impressed with these, and I am not easily pleased. There are a lot of people saying the screws are garbage so I was prepared however, seems these other reviewers don't know the difference between a PH2 and a PZ2. Use a PH2 driver bit and toenail the pilot holes on an angle so you have clearance when driving the screws and they go in perfectly well. The screws are designed for the sheer value and weight so just make sure you use the correct driver bit and you are fine they are very strong. I would very much recommend!

Strong, stable and easy to fit
Very happy with these for my work-bench. Very easy to operate and allow the table to move freely over fairly smooth concrete (I.e. garage floor, not polished) once retracted, the table is completely stable.

Great for making theatre set safe on stage
They're sturdy, straightforward to fit and don't wander around like a wayward shopping trolley. Really good and not too expensive.

Inaccurate template and poor quality screws
Used the template to fit the first castor frame and found that once released the castor still made contact with the floor. Not a great start, so when putting the castor frame together don't make it too tight a fit with the release pedal. My next issue was with the quality of the screws, I needed to remove the first castor frame and my screwdriver (correct size) shredded the screw heads, the fine filings this produced stuck to my screwdriver and were sharp on the skin. This happened with all four screws. After a lot of fettling I have castors in place and each one clears the floor, once released. This is definitely a "measure twice cut once" task, so check the template. I would also recommend having some better screws at hand. That said once fitted, the castors do a good job and I happily move my bench around the workshop.

Do the job but…
These are decent. They’re structurally strong enough so can’t fault them for that. The castors move freely and it rolls around nicely. There are however a few aggravating niggles… - didn’t come with instructions or a template. Not hard to figure out, just leave it in “collapsed” position and rest against the leg to mark the position. I found the top of the plate should sit at least 120mm above the floor - wood screws are abysmal. The Phillips head required has so little biting surface and is very very liable to slip. Given the size of the button head a larger driver could have been used which would make them so much easier to insert.

Excellent quality
Easy to install, excellent quality, easy maneuverability. My only nitpick would be that under the foot lever saw dust is collected as it can't drop out the bottom to the floor.
