You don't have to spend more for a quality dash cam.
This is a clear winner in quest for value for your money. I've had two dash cams in previous cars and the picture quality of the 70mai Dash Cam Pro Plus+ (A500S) is outstanding. Installation on our new Ioniq 5 was easy. I didn't have to buy any special dongle to get power from the mirror. The supplied cable routed easily along the top of the windshield, over the A pillar on the driver's side and then down inside the rubber door seal to just below the fuse box. From there it passes under the dash to the USB power outlet in the storage area at the center of the car below the dash. As shown in the attached pictures, the only visible wiring is where it crosses the A-pillar and it's barely noticeable. The form factor is certainly not an issue and the location just to the right of the rear view mirror is such that unless you want to check a recording on the screen, you could forget it's there. It's nice that you can download footage to your phone without having to remove the unit or the memory card.

Excellent Quality and a Life Saver for Insurance Claims
The 70mai True 2.7K 1944P Ultra Full HD Dash Cam Pro Plus+ has been an absolute game-changer for me. The video quality is incredibly clear, capturing every detail with its high-definition resolution, even in low light. The footage is crisp and easy to review, and it has already saved me from multiple potential insurance problems. On a couple of occasions, the dash cam has provided crucial evidence in case of accidents and insurance disputes, making the claims process much smoother and stress-free. The optional rear cam adds even more peace of mind, covering all angles of your drive. Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase. It's reliable, easy to install, and the video quality is top-tier. If you're looking for a dash cam that offers both protection and peace of mind, the 70mai Pro Plus+ is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!
