Gator GC-DREAD Deluxe Molded Case For Dreadnought Acoustic Guitars

The case seems to be of good quality and is well made and finished. I'm using it for an Irish Bouzouki/tenor mandolin, so it's a little long for that instrument. But it's very difficult to find a specialized case for that instrument. Hoping that the ABS material stands up well. I have heard of ABS used in instrument cases breaking, but thought it was worth a try.

This Gator Cases Deluxe Molded Guitar Case (GC-APX) is a perfect fit for my son's Yamaha TransAcoustic Concert guitar FS-TA and provides a superior level of protection without adding a lot of weight. This is a hard shell case. The case is made of a textured, molded, ABS, plastic. It features aluminum edges, latches and feet. Inside, there is a plush, black, lining and padding at key areas. There is a built-in box under the neck for picks, capos, slides, pedals, strings, tuners, etc. It comes with two keys for the locking latch. The carry handle feels good in your hand and is well placed for good balance. The workmanship is excellent - no issues at all there. The best level of protection in a guitar case is one where the guitar fits snugly into the case so there is little to no movement possible once the instrument is in the case. Therefore it's hard to buy a case online that you are certain will be an excellent fit for your guitar. I read on another website that this case was hand tested to be a perfect fit for my son's particular guitar. I ordered from Amazon because I know that returns are easy through Amazon in case it didn't fit. Fortunately, the Yamaha FS-TA fits so perfectly, it seems like it was custom made for the guitar. Since my son hauls his guitar around pretty much everywhere he goes, I am pleased to have gotten him such a protective case. He is pleased with how lightweight it is and how well his guitar fits inside. I can't speak to other guitars but if you have a Yamaha FS-TA, this is probably the best case available for it.

Great product just didnt fit my guitar

My guitar was a little bit too long - it's a Takamine, so the tuning head has a point on it. I was able to modify the case fairly easily. The case looks great, nice storage area and well-finished.
