This better than bouillon sautéed onion base is truly amazing, whatever you put it in while cooking just gives it an amazing taste, very hard to find in stores but I always purchased it on Amazon now, 1 teaspoon is all you need, sodium is not really bad and it's a great price.

A GREAT brand
The Better Than Bouillon Premium brand is outstanding. Rich wonderful flavors. All the stores where I live stopped selling the onion base so I'm glad I could get it through Amazon. It lasts a long time and nothing else sold compares to this brand. I have also used the chicken, beef and vegetable bases as well. All are great! I use a little bit of the beef and the onion to the boiling water when cooking canned green beans and they turn out delicious every time.

Delicious vegan and vegetarian friends replacement for onion soup mix
Absolutely delicious! I have a family full of vegetarians and vegans and this replaces Lipton onion soup mix (which has beef in it) in so many many recipes! Has the same rich flavor. We love it! Just wish it was more readily available in the stores.

Great Flavor!
This stuff is so yummy. It adds that really well cooked onion flavor. I like to use it for everything that calls for onion. Yes, it is salty and sometimes I use it with meat bouillion too so I never add extra salt till it’s on my plate. It is easy to use and worth the price! You can also put this in a caramelized onion dip, yum! Roasted onion flavor is my favorite and of great quality. Better than bouillon has many other herb or vegetable flavors that are Devine. You should look into them they add so much more flavor than you would think.

All the flavor in one tenth of the time
The scenario is...; you're cooking a dish which requires you to caramelize onions for 45 minutes. Or, you could sauté onions till softened and add a TBSP of this onion base to the mixture, (shaving off 30 minutes of labor-intensive cooking time) Seems like a "No-Brainer" to me
