My four grandchildren (ages 6-10) loved having these at our cabin. We used to struggle finding jars/containers but now they each have their own. They even personalized them using Sharpies. They're very durable and make dropping the fireflies in very easy using the swinging door.

So many bugs have called these home it's crazy. Kids love them.

Bought and used for our very first tent camping experience. Great introduction to bugs and bug catching. 4 year olds enjoyed it. Toys are made of good rubber or material. The only complaint I have is the magnifying glass was not the best, it scratched and frosted fast. Good price for the whole set. Bought 2 and my kids still use it.

My son is 3 & loves catching geckos and lizards with me. I used to do that as a kid, so we have been continuing the tradition lol. I bought him a cheap screened one from Target, after a while the screen ripped.. So he needed a new one. I catch them by hand or with a net & we observe them for a bit and release them back to where we found them. The little toys the kits come with is also fun for him. We just received in in the mail hours ago. But we got to watch the gecko eat a fly, which was cool

My little one loves catching bugs so this is absolutely perfect for that activity. The extra tools make it fun and a little more than just catching the bugs and putting them in the little catchers.

We got this as a birthday gift for a 5 year old and they were thrilled! The quality seems decent and the colors are nice and vibrant. It comes with many pieces which was nice. The size is good for holding a couple bugs and sticks/leaves.

It’s a cute idea but within five minutes, my three year old had the swivel lid torn off of the bug keeper and was in tears because it wouldn’t close any longer. I would return had I kept the box. Save your money and buy the Melissa and Doug kit instead!
