My 3 year old daughter got this bike for her birthday and she LOVES IT! She's petite, and the bike is a perfect fit with so much room to grow! What a great investment... it will last for years to come. She jumped right on and zoomed all over our neighborhood on the first day. It's light enough for her to maneuver it well and it is so cute! We also purchased a triple eight helmet in white and black pads to go along with the bike. Couldn't be happier with all of it! Definitely recommend this bike to any parent wanting to get their kids riding! Without the hassle of training wheels and pedals, it's the perfect bike to help the little ones develop their balance and gross motor skills. Awesome!!

My 5yrs. old grandson loves these Pete the Cat books! My daughter wanted to teach him about Thanksgiving. This book has colorful pictures and fun drawings but at the same time presents the information in an interesting format for kids. He will gain a better understanding of what Thanksgiving is about and then this holiday will mean more to him. Amazon has a Thanksgiving Activities Book that I gave him along with this one which will enforce the Story of Thanksgiving. Learning to be thankful is important for kids to know. This is a fun way to get them thinking.

Cute Thanksgiving book!

This is a cute little lift-the-flap book . . . but therein lies the problem, this is a lift-the-flap book. =/ My son requested this book because Pete the Cat books are hos absolute favorite right now (1st grade). He loves the rhyming and the funky pictures. When he received this book, he was ecstatic, and he immediately sat down to master the words so he could read it to the whole family on Thanksgiving. Then my 2 year old nephew got hold of the book. He was doing great with it, flipping the pages and laughing, until all of a sudden he started ripping off several of the flaps. My son was distressed, to say the least. We love this book, but I recommend keeping it out of the hands of anyone under the age of 5 as the flaps are just too tempting for the littler ones. Or, consider buying a back up. ;)

As always, another engaging Pete the Cat tale. 4 year old girl is enthralled and loves reading it over and over. Got it for Thanksgiving time. 2 year old boy isn’t quite there yet but he also will sit though *almost* the whole reading on this one. (Some other ones they both LOVE and will read over as over like Pete the Cat and His White Shoes and the The Missing Cupcakes)

My 4 and 2 year olds are avid readers. They really love books in a series because there tends to be some predictable features. Well, this Pete the Cat doesn't really adhere to the normal Pete the Cat format. Other reviews mention this, if you want more details. However, I specifically purchased this one because there are not as many books about Thanksgiving compared to say, Christmas or Halloween, and I have been very satisfied with my purchase for that reason. The book gives some good history - other Thanksgiving books typically have the characters eat Thanksgiving dinner without giving many details as to WHY we celebrate Thanksgiving.

I really enjoyed this book and so did my 5 year old son. Just as important, our big orange cat Pumpkin - who can hear a page rustle a mile away and arrives quickly so as not to miss a tale - enjoyed it too. It was a fun re-telling of the Thanksgiving story from “cat eyes” and reinforced some what my son has been learning about history. We will keep in singing Pete the Cat’s praises.
