Great size for a puppy (4 mos old) to get started and used to the training basics for off leash control or corrections. Starting to use for barking corrections and will eventually progress to command control/correction as he ages. Mini Educator was recommended because 1) easy to use and 2) the ability to start with very low stimulation. I have the Garmin for my adult setter (and will likely advance to that as pup ages and his instinct drive increases) but wonderful starter and training tool. Only wish the collar was a quick release collar (ordered a biothane quick release collar on Etsy) that I will replace as soon as I receive it. Vibration, sound and stimulation are clear and easy to use. Battery life seems to last. Haven’t tested the full range, but worked well 300 yards away. My trainers are professionals and I trust their recommendations fully. They have this for their own pups and I can see why.

I own a mini schnauzer and we have decided to get this to help us teach him to be off leash. It worked so well with him! This one only vibrates, which is what we wanted. The vibrations are adjustable, you just have to see what your dog responds to. The nice thing about the vibrates is that it doesn't harm the dog, the vibrations just kind of confuses them. There are 3 buttons. One is a short vibrate, just a quick button. The red one is a long vibrate. You can hold this one for 10 seconds at a time. The last button is by itself on the otherside which is called a "Tone" it basically vibrates the whole collar. This one is the last resort button. There are 2 types of prongs. One for longer coats and one for shorter. With our dog since we let his hair grow longer in the winter we do have to switch between the two. This collar has really worked for him! I would say that your dog should know your commands before you start with the collar, this is just a tool to help reinforce the commands.

I love the large range of settings. Works great to reinforce recall as well as correction of unwanted behaviors. The integrated light is great. My pup has responded great. It’s a lifesaver.

Great product I’ve had a tough time setting it up. Probably more user error than a problem with it.

Having a puppy, especially One that is a breed that likes to wonder… This was an absolute lifesaver. It’s really important to understand that you can’t just put this on the Dog and expect it to know what the vibrate or the tone or the Shock means. It’s important to spend time with the dog and train it with positive reinforcement. The quality of this colour is great, I actually changed out the colour for a bungee as my pup has a sensitive throat. The bun you made a big difference, as well as the butterfly connection points. The battery seems to last quite awhile, I take my dog for a walk twice a day for about 45 minutes to an hour each time and I only have to charge the hand control maybe every other week and the colour about one week to one and a half weeks. This product has helped with recall, commands and responses throughout walks, allowing my dog to go off lead where she can knowing she will respond to me. Cannot recommend this thing enough!

I have an 18 month angel of a Goldendoodle and the mini educator is solely responsible for improving his behavior. He was a terrible puppy, with a biting habit and PICA that led to dozens of foreign body ingestions. I was at my whits' end with him. I loved him so much, but he was wrecking me financially and emotionally. He is a smart dog and a fast learner, but had no concept of what "no" meant. This product was able to offer a humane, gentle correction, the same way dogs correct their pack when one is out of line. The humanity of this product is determined by its end use. I never use a level higher than 10/100. Corrections are short and quick, and only on commands he already knows. I had initially purchased a much less expensive collar, but the 100 increments and 0 delay between pressing the button and the dog receiving this correction make this one much more effective. Worth every penny!

Worked amazing for training until the collar part just stopped charging one evening only months after starting to use it. Haven't been able to reach anyone about a warranty sadly & dont want to spend another 230$ on a whole set.

This is a great e-collar. My 80lb dog is recall trained with it and it gives her freedom and me peace of mind. I like that there are multiple settings so I was able to find what worked best with her, which is often just the tone. Additionally, I’ll be able to add a second receiver when it comes time to train my puppy, which is a great feature. The quality is great, my dog has swam with it on and rolled in all kind of things with no issue. Great battery life too.

Works great, I bought the longer prongs for better contact on my Rottweiler. But he loves the thing. Have to remember this isn’t a tool to punish, this is a tool to reinforce. You want to condition. Your dog to be excited to have this on their neck. My dog loves it and as time goes one it’s only going to allow him to live a better life off leash safely.

Product is as expected works well. My second one for my second dog. May pair with one remote later. So far I like to keep it simple. Order was a little later than expected. Like 3 days. They did get back to me promptly with an update when I messaged.

Bought these for our two dogs to use while training. Our one dog is extremely stubborn and likes to push the limits. She responds quite well with this and after a bit all we would do is put the collar on but not have it powered on

Bought this e collar and after one month it completely stopped working , wouldn’t charge wouldn’t work. Tried to contact seller and first they said they would refund it , so I went through entire process then they said no we can’t. Product is expensive and garbage. Lots of better products on the market that I will try next. Supplier not good and don’t stand behind their product.
