PERFECT!
this is my favorite non hardening clay! it's easy to mold in your hand, but it stays upright even if you leave it sit for a bit. it's a little hard to clean up, it may stain your hands but not for long, and just a spray of cleaner will wipe it off your surface. this is a 10/10 for me!

Lots of household helpful uses
this is the good old time oil based clay. I use it to hold small nail polish bottles onto a jar cap so They don’t fall & spill. Also hold all sorts of things as I glue them or to hold them in position. A bit on the bottom of things keeps stuff in place on night stands & shelves.

good colors, malleable, mixes well with sculpey
I bought this for stop motion films. It warms up easily when rolled and is very malleable. I was changing shape of clay after every photo. It became a little softer than I wanted. It also is problematic because color got all over my hands and the stage. But, I mixed it with Super Sculpey, the basic non colored version (sort of flesh colored). This improved the consistency making it a bit firmer and standing up better to repeated handling. And thank god, it reduced the extent to which the compound shed it's color...not completely but a definite improvement. I plan on adding it to an armature next and I will definitely mix with sculpey. I use about a 50/50 mix. I really like the claytoon colors. The colors mix very nicely to get what you want. And very important for me, I was still able to get good color blends when I added the sculpey. Adding the sculpey also improved the consistency, making it somewhat smoother and less likely to break apart as I changed shapes between shots. I may try another plastalina clay next for comparison. Shooting for less messy and a bit firmer. But I think the number and quality of the claytoon colors will keep them in the mix. We will see, I'm already making latex build up puppets. But the things that can be done with clay are amazing.

The dye for color is not stable
It is soft and easy to manipulate. But the dye for the color is getting everywhere.

Kinda hard, but usable.
I got this clay for a stop motion animation and when I opened the package, it was kinda hard to mold with. I then noticed that the dye of the clay stained your hands and pretty much everything it touched so maybe use gloves with this. Because the clay was hard I added some polymer clay softener and that made it soft enough to use.

5歳の長男用に購入しました。粘土で色々な作品を作って楽しんでいます。 色付きの粘土が大好きみたいです。 使用感も問題無し。リピ買いするかもです。😊

Yeah I am an animator and a teacher. I bought this product as i was curious since it labelled it self as clay for animation specifically. It's nice soft clay and easy to manipulate however, the dye for the colours, especially the red bleeds like crazy ( not sure if that's the correct term) basically as you use it your hands will be the colour of the clay. Any surface you have the clay working on will be stained as well. So for that reason alone i don't recommend it. There are other clays out there that work better for animation that don't discolour everything they come in contact with. I was going to recommend a brand i was working with today but it turns out it's just a generic brand from Dollarama. But it's cheap, works well and doesn't stain everything. I would suggest trying out different other modelling clays and plasticine and find which one works best for you that isn't so messy.
