where do you get that a 12 pack of soda weighs 41 pounds?

Mr. Perkins, many listings that are created in Amazon grocery are not my personal creations. Many sellers just copy and paste the listings that are already out there. There are several different ways for sellers to calculate shipping and one of them involves inflating the weight of the product to get an appropriate shipping cost as needed. We at thebarecupboard have a flat rate shipping cost so whatever someone else may have listed weight wise, such as 41 lbs., does not affect us- the seller, or you- as the buyer. On our own personal shipping modules, we have a 12 pack weighing 9 lbs. not 41 lbs. I hope that has answered your question.
