It’s powerful but noisy. I received mine with one spare battery not working and as the item was not returnable, Amazon and the the seller was kind enough to refund the amount. The life of most of the massage guns are limited by their batteries, once batteries are over, you need to throw your massage gun. So go for cheaper ones.

Works just as advertised. I was a bit worried if these were hype or real, and if this brand was any good. Yes and yes. Its powerful and penetrates muscles well, I love using it and my neck muscles in particular are far less tight now.

I had originally bought one of those generic looking ones for around $100 in 2019. You have seen those massage guns all over Amazon - they all look the same, have 20 speeds and are available at similar price points. I really liked it but it only lasted around two years before eating shirt. The massager itself was fine but the battery died and was not user replaceable. I liked how strong it was originally and I decided that this time around I wanted something stronger. Next I bought one of those Amazon cheapies - search for APHERMA Massage Gun on Amazon to find the junky one I bought right before this Vybe V2. It was so weak that as soon as I dug it into my side or back it just stopped so I sent it back. I then started a five hour deep dive into the world of massage guns. I wanted a gun that had (in this order): At least as much pressure as my first one and preferably much more User replaceable batteries Under $200 Varied massage heads, I only used one on my first gun and wished I had liked more of them When I came across the Vybe V2 it seemed too good to be true as it matched all of these criteria except the wide head variety for which I had hoped. I went ahead and ordered it knowing it was loud, aggressive and in some cases offensive, just like me. I unboxed it and asked my wife to give it a shot with the conical head directly on my back w/ no shirt at max power. It immediately felt great and I got a ton of relief. It is sooooo much stronger than any massage gun I have ever used. It felt so good I asked her to do it for a little longer and to focus on three areas that usually flare up for me. She held the gun in place on those three areas for maybe 30 seconds each. At the end of each 30 second run my back started to feel warm in the area where she was focusing. I asked her to move on to the next spot and didn't think too much about it; usually warmth like that means that bloodflow is stimulated and the mission has been accomplished. I slept like a baby that night. The next morning when I took a shower I felt something weird on my back. Believe it or not this gun had actually burned a few layers of skin off my back in those three places and they were bleeding a little bit. It was so freaking awesome! I mean, skin being burned off your back isn't really something for which you should strive but any massage gun powerful enough to do that is likely going to be powerful enough for anything you can possibly throw at it. This thing is basically a power tool with a massage head attachment on it. In fact, the batteries are almost identical to Milwaukee M12 batteries although they are not compatible with each other. Some people on Amazon claim it is too loud - I think the noise just lets you know it's working. My neighbors haven't complained yet and my kid doesn't wake up three rooms over when I use it so it's quiet enough I think. TLDR: if you want the strongest massage gun you can find at the absolute lowest price point get this. Don't use it without a shirt or if you do use it on bare skin use lower speeds with the ball attachments. Like: Literally strong enough to burn your skin off Low price (like absurdly low for what it is) Adjustable head angle Super sturdy, zero flex anywhere in its body 16mm range and a reported 60lbs of stall force Extremely loud Uses cheap and common replaceable batteries No Like: Brushed motor smells weird during use Handle gets a little warm after 5-10 minutes of use Would have liked the [foam] heads to be made of a harder substance though I might try to buy some threaded inserts and turn a few out of wood. Probably a stupid idea so let's do it! Overall 5/5 though to be honest it earned five stars the second I realized it torched my dermis off

Like I said , This thing is a BEAST . Pros : very powerful, 3 directional head adjustments, very simple device, no digital screens to mess with which means less things to go wrong, EXTRA BATTERY! Convenient on off trigger. Cons: LOUD! ,only 6 power levels so it May be too powerful for some, only 3 attachments. So... a little background. I’ve ordered 3 of different brands of hand held massagers. I’ve had to return each of them. Almost all of these devices are plagued with battery issues, Which is understandable considering the force required to do deep tissue massages. They get to about 50% and then basically any significant force applied causes the motor to freeze up. This device is is not that different, as it will freeze up after a certain percentage of battery is used, however vybe is the only one to think about including an extra battery for swapping out... HUGE BENEFIT. I haven’t had a problem with being able to use it due to lack of battery. It’s very powerful... some machines have 30 power levels, where as this only has six power levels, and I’ve really only needed to use it on level one... it’s that powerful. So that being said, it may be a bit strong to those who are more sensitive. Very simple machine, no digital read out screens, or anything, which is a plus. Less power consumption, and from my experience the digital read out screens aren’t really accurate , as I’ve stated most devices get to 50% and then they’re useless, so the screen doesn’t help anyway. Comes with only 3 attachments, small ball, large ball, blunt cone. Many machines will throw in 4-7 attachments, but honestly, I only use the one so it’s of no concern to me. Now the major drawback to this thing is the noise. It sounds like a power tool as you can hear in the video. Maybe a bit louder than a drill. So if your planning on using this thing while watching TV, or in the same room with people... guess again. They do have a quiet version, but this device was in my price range. All things considered, the pros, outweigh the few cons. This machine is a no nonsense massager that gets the job done, and the extra battery makes it stand out from the other machines. So if your goal is pain relief and rehab , and don’t mind the noise... give it a try.

So I am on of those brutally honest review folk but as always your mileage may vary. So lets start off with the good. So first off - nice carrying case. Good touch, looks like someone cared when they designed it. First impressions on use were that it was a little too intense. But I have quickly grown to like that it is quite a powerful and intense message gun. The battery life isnt THAT great - but IT HAS 2 BATTERIES! Friggen genius! That means when the thing cuts out, you just battery swap and you dont have to wait a couple of hours for a fully charged battery. This shows that during the design of this thing, some people actually used and tested it - and noticed that it was an issue and did something about it. Good job there. Now to the OK stuff Build quality is OK. Injection mold work isnt the best but the thing fits together and does not feel flimsy in the hand. The design of the whole thing looks like its trying too hard - trying to copy a lot of power tools from the last few years. I would have simplified the design of the whole bottom half to be just over molded in the black, what is it butyl rubber or TPE/TPU or whatever you guys used and had just a blue - black - blue look with only two lines. Screws are exposed on one side - so one side is definitely prettier than the other. But again - overall OK. It works. Foam ball tips and attachments get an OK. They work but do feel and look kind of cheap. Gets the job done but I would have gone with a silicon or some kind of textured rubber. I am sure this thing will crap out at some point because of the gears inside it or trigger or batteries wearing out. It just does not have that "yeah, this thing will last forever, its so over built" feel to it. Its just OK in this category. But I am sure I will get my monies worth out of it. Like you know - if this thing lasts 5 to 10 years, and shits the bed - I will be OK with that. If it makes it 6 months to 2 years and craps out - I will be editing this review. The bad They used a brushed motor instead of a brushless motor. This means you get that wonderful electricy O zone smell when you use the thing. I would have gone with a brushless motor. This is actually my single biggest gripe with the thing. You (vybe) should really look into getting a replacement brushless motor and just quietly work that into anything you sell in the future. The trigger is on / off. I would have gone with a trigger that allows for some speed control - and still kept the speed adjust knob to limit the max speed. And once you have the electronic controls to make that happen - you could add nice features like speed ramp up and ramp down or little single punches like 3 in a row. Put a second knob on there that clicks to select all the different stuff. I mean I would probably just find one I like and use that one exclusively - and it still might be the "normal" setting, but it would bring product quality and features more in line with the price. The noise is pretty bad. They sdmit this - so gets a pass. But its about equivalent to a power reciprocating saw or jigsaw. What does this message gun look like? A battery powered jigsaw? hmmm. By my calculation the price for this thing should be about $100-$120. So I would argue its a bad deal. Conclusion: Would I buy this again. In one word - Yes. In a paragraph: I would need to try some other percussion massagers, I dont have much to compare it to. Would I pay twice as much for one that was half the noise? No. Would I buy one that had a brushless motor and was a little quieter for plus or minus 10% of the price of this one. Yes. So the review is 4 stars - because anything I say "would buy again to" gets 3 automatically. And its not a piece of crap - gets the job done - so it gets one more star. But I would say to get the last star, they really need to batton down on the look and feel of the finish and accessories, use a brushless motor, and possibly add some premium features.
