I ordered this for my boat trailer and it's the exact same part that I am replacing. The only difference is the reverse lock out has 2 wires, hot and ground, and the old one only had one wire, hot. I don't really think that it matters which is hot and which is ground. It was delivered promptly.

Works great can’t complain. 7-1-25 this is an update: the lock out key that comes with this is trash do yourself a favor and buy the orange upgraded lock out key here on Amazon. You’ve been warned.

The master cylinder is a bit longer so the reverse lockout solenoid is in a slightly different position but that does not affect alignment with the brake line connection. It does have two wires versus one on the solenoid; the white wire is for a dedicated ground. It’s basically identical to my original unit. A perfect fit and really easy install. Bleeding the brakes takes longer than installing the unit.

Great replacement part. There are some modifications and improvements from older models. Mine was simply swap out 1 brass fitting to to accomodate and attach to my current brake system, then add wiring for ground wire (white) for reverser overide, then good to go. Seems to be working great, very happy.
