Paw Pods Biodegradable Pet Casket, Small Pod

Sadly we have had to use these a couple of times now for two of our guinea pigs that have passed. The pod is very sturdy and I like that it is biodegradable and comes with flower seeds to plant with it. We buried them under a large tree in our yard. Our piggies are very beloved in our family and It feels better to us to bury them in this than a box. The small is the right size for a guinea pig. Saying goodbye to a pet is always hard. This helped us feel a bit better about how we buried them when it was time to say goodbye.

We recently had to help our beloved guinea pig across the rainbow bridge. He lived a long life at 6.5 years but it really is never long enough when you love a pet. This was the perfect container in every way - size, closed securely, price and ecologically responsible as we buried him in our yard. I would highly recommend this product. We ordered the size "small" for our approx. 2.5# guinea pig.

I bought a pod in advance (who wants to wait two days to bury their pet?) for my hospice ferret. It comes with a beautiful little saying to warm your heart, and a paper leaf with wildflower seeds. I was planning on buying seeds for his grave and was pleased to find that this included some. How kind!! Will be buying another pod shortly as a just-in-case for my other ferret. I did think that it was a bit small and if you have a large ferret it might be a tight squeeze, but my medium/small ferret fits just fine. Note: the ferret photographed is neither dead, nor the ferret the casket is intended for! Lol

I wish they had a size more suited to a syrian hamster, but I don't mind digging a slightly bigger hole. This isn't something I really want to talk about a whole lot. This device was nice and gave me some basic comfort and a sense of procedure to guide along a really crappy day.

I bought a small pod assuming it would fit my 10lb wiener dog, unfortunately it was too small. I will keep it for my 3.5lb chihuahua which is way more suited for. What a bummer. Great product though.

No one wants to buy a casket...however, it is often necessary. This was a great product, great quality, and eased some of the pain knowing our fur baby (ferret) was laid to rest in it, rather than just the ground.

I love the idea of it and got for my beloved female lovebird that passed away. This is actually quite big for a lovebird (small bird in general). I can maybe fit 8-10 of her in it. This is made of pretty nice quality and hard, close/ clap nicely. Too bad it arrive cracked but it still served it's purpose, so I didn't mind as I cannot wait any longer.

I was sad and worried about how was i going to lay my guinea pig to rest. When i saw this and saw wat does it comes with and the overview of the product i had to buy it. When i buried my guinea pig he looked so peaceful when saying my final goodbye to him. I will recommend this product highly in laying your furry loved one to final rest. Not only do u get such an eco friendly casket. U get a leaf that has seeds that can transform ur loved one into a plant. I want to say thank u to this company for making this product to bring peace.
