This is a brilliant sunbrella! I have another, which is pretty and lacy and works well but it's a pain in the backside to close up. This one has a button that both pops it open and pops it closed. All you have to do is wrap the strap around it and snap closed. Okay, I'd prefer Velcro, as I'm always afraid the snap will break but I hope this will last a good long while. I live in Arizona where it is ridiculously hot and sunny the entire year. I also have a severe case of sun photosensitivity, so this is not the place to live without protecting your skin. I'm packing for a trip to the tropics next week and wanted to take along a sunbrella so thought I'd give this one a try. I've already been outside to give it a go. Popped up and fully outright in a split second. Covers me well. I stood outside by the pool with my back to the sun and, though the backs of my legs quickly heated up, my arms were cool and comfortable. I took the umbrella away and immediately felt the difference. The black interior makes such a difference in protecting one's skin. The flower pattern is so cheery. Can't wait to walk the beaches, let the surf tickle my toes, surround myself with sunshine and not be touched by the wicked rays!

I've been having skin reactions to the sun with the high UV levels all summer and this umbrella is really great for when I don't want to reapply sunscreen. It's a nice size and it opens easily (perhaps a little aggressively). I think the design is really beautiful.

I have used regular unbrellas in the hot Florida and Georgia sun. I said hot, but I really mean flaming. They didn't work. This works wonderfully. The interior is black,and fights the sun. I use this when I go walking in the morning. It's cute and gets the job done!

Cute pattern; UV protection is a bit thin but sufficient; handle feels a bit flimsy; so far only have used it for sun shade; will see how well it holds up in a storm.

This Cuby umbrella has been a life saver. It’s easy to pack, and seems to be made well. I have used it the shield myself for sun and rain. One thing to note is the umbrella had an unpleasant odor at first. After it aired out a while, the odor disappeared.

It’s just the right size & fits in a bag or purse. Love the sky colors inside. Haven’t tried it out sitting in the sun yet, but did open it up. As others have commented, it does take a bit of strength and 2 hands to close. Opening, too, takes some pressure on the button. It is light weight & seems it will be comfortable to hold. Gave only 4 stars because the snap closure is not long enough & takes some doing (at least for me) to wrap around the umbrella; it does fit ok in the sky-colored 😊sleeve Addendum: It works well for rain & sun protection, but does not tolerate wind; anything above approximately 5 mph it turns inside out. I use this umbrella specifically for sunny days and it really comes in handy. It's compact so it is easy to carry around. As far as wind resistance, it will go inside out if it's windy outside. Also the different patterns are so cute.

Il solo difetto è che si chiude con fatica, almeno per le ...vecchie signore come me, ma è veramente protettivo dal sole ed anche elegante!

Pour un parapluie pliable, je trouve sa poignée agréable à tenir, je le souligne parce que j'ai d'autres parapluies de ce genre et ils sont moins confortables dans la prise en main (poignée plus petite), et quand on marche une heure avec, ça fait une différence ! Le parapluie s'ouvre instantanément en pressant un bouton sur la poignée. En plus de ça l'illustration de baleines est très belle, et la qualité semble au rendez-vous, le parapluie donne une impression de qualité, je suis contente !
