great polarized sheets!
These sheets worked great! Near 100% light blocking turned 90 degrees sheet-to-sheet. Film was easy to peel off, since they gave pull tabs for this reason. Completely clear optical with film peeled off. Yes, there is the light reduction.. There better be if it is really polarized... Bad reviews seem to come from lack of understanding of what this is. The sheets are grey in color on their own. They are supposed to be. Look at the most expensive camera polarizers to see this... Product was shipped in flat cardboard. VERY slight curl seen on unpacking, nothing to stop the bus on...Really. Worked great for the experiments I am conducting now. Thx Amazon!

Good Linear Polarizing Sheet as a good price
Does exactly what it is supposed to. The protective "Saran Wrap" on both sides can be easily removed by using a piece of duct tape to start a corner. When you remove that from both sides, the polarizing sheet is then nice and clear and ready to use. Otherwise it is diffused. Lots of customers fail to realize this.

it worked for the eclipse
There was enough to make my own filters for the camera. Good value. Did not realize it was covered with protective plastic. Found out. Still have enough for other projects.

Eliminates glare
I was using these to eliminate glare in photography of my scrapbooks (glossy photos or embellishments). It did this well if I used 2 of them at right angles to each other. However, it affected the color of the photos--even though I used a gray card to set the White Balance on my Nikon D5500...to the point that I could not fix the color afterwards (note that I am NOT a pro at the editing, though, so someone else may be able to accomplish that!). So for my situation, it wasn't a good tradeoff. I just had to change my setup to be natural lighting.

Small creases from shipping, but usable.
This film does exactly what it should. Both sides are non adhesive which seems to be getting harder to find now. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because even though it was shipped in a bubbled envelope, when it arrived all the sheets had small creases in them. I use them for photography so the creased part is unusable for me, but I also didn't need a sheet this large. Thankfully I could cut it down past the crease and they were still large enough to use. But they should put a little piece of cardboard or something in the package to keep this from happening.

It did the job - photographing oil paintings.
I needed a cheap way to get proper photos of an oil painting that has big brush strokes, therefore creating a lot of glare with any attempt to photograph it. Make sure your remove the film on both sides of the sheets. I then taped a sheet over my light source, and taped one over my camera lens (I cut it down to size for my phone). At first it didn't work, and then I realized that the sheet needed to be turned over. I switched it around and was able to take a MUCH better photo of the painting than I had been able to get thus far. It's a bit fiddly, but it did the job!

A great way to produce polarized light.
I'm doing some photography lighting experiments with polarized light and needed these to polarized the light from my studio strobe and continuous lights. A polarizing lens will be used on the camera and it's adjustment should help me eliminate unwanted reflected light bouncing off shiny objects on my subjects. I'm setting up for this now.

Extremely low quality
The film has extremely poor optical qualities. Anything viewed through it is blurred to the point of being unrecognizable. Additionally, the polarization isn't all that strong. Possibly the most frustrating part is that they do nothing to flatten the film, so it retains the curl that it had on the roll and is difficult to work with. The poor optical qualities make it a dud for photography and the unruly curling makes it a dud for demonstrating the quantum nature of light, unless you want your demonstration to be a comedy. That's a failure of 2/3 of what they advertise it for and given that the picture is of perfectly flat sheets, I think this qualifies as false advertisement. If you buy a new car based on pictures and it gets delivered all curled up an unusable, that's clearly a scam. It shouldn't be any different for other products.

I polarizzatori funzionano benissimo.

Polarizing effect works but packaging is awful
This product packaging has to improve, it actually feels like a joke that someone can ship a flat sheet in a soft paper envelope and think it would arrive to buyers hands in perfect condition.

Spitzen Unterrichtsmaterial
