Perfect pair of classics..

Gave this to a friend who had never heard of Runaway Bunny. It was a must bedtime read when my son was younger. Such a cute story! Great illustrations. Great price. I love the book sleeve. It will help protect the books.

Both of these books were favorites when my kids were little, so I ALWAYS buy this set for the new babies in our family. Every growing family needs these books on their shelves!

The BOOK absolutely deserve five stars. But not the seller.

I read this to myself every night before bed, not because I’m a child, but because Goodnight Moon is a meditative reflection on the impermanence of life. The quiet acknowledgment of objects, only to bid them farewell, serves as a gentle reminder that all things, be they kittens, mittens, or even the reassuring presence of a quiet old lady whispering “hush” are fleeting. Through poetic simplicity, it forces us to confront our own mortality while embracing the peace of the present. Every night, I close this book with a tear in my eye and the crushing weight of existential understanding in my heart. 10/10, would recommend.

I mean…Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd were ahead of their time. These are both the epitome of CLASSIC. I grew up having them read to me, and my mom says “they’re great, the kid thinks they got a whole book but parents are over and out quickly” I can say that I learned to read by 4 from these books every night…and I just got the set for my little one year old sweet pea family member. Her mom had been warned it can get emotional there with the runaway bunny but the sweetness is worth the occasional weep. Just so so well crafted. The art is classic. What can be said? They’re awesome and these board books are really nice for little ones because they can grasp the pages and they’re STURDY.

This is my 'go to present' for all new babies! Two books that belong on every child's shelf. A firm favourite of mine as a little girl, of my 30+ year old children and now to a new generation. Just wish the hardback with paper pages was available.

I already have good night moon in paperback since my baby is a few months old which is really well used but now a toddler, my boy is as attached to goodnignt moon as ever so I decided to get this set. The color are vivid and the board material is great quality. Ideal gift for your baby or a friend’s!!!
