Does the packaging say where the mushrooms sourced are grown?

It is not stated on the packaging. Our mushrooms are sourced from a company based in Canada, founded by one of the foremost mushroom cultivation experts in the world. He has been working with small organic farms in mountainous regions of China since the early 90's. All of their mushrooms are tested for heavy metals, contaminants and Beta Glucan content. Currently there is no commercial supply of USA grown mushroom powders which are made from 100% fruiting bodies. If you see mushroom supplements grown in the USA, they are a combination of mycelium, starch and mushrooms.

why did you change the ratio people that have a condition like mine are counting on it staying the same !!!!! it figures greed right?

The serving size is the only thing that changed. There are no less mushrooms in the bag. Before, the serving size was 2000 mg. This means that in 2000 mg of powder, there is about 285 mg of each of the seven mushrooms (285 x 7 = 1995). Now, for simplicity, the serving size has changed to 700 mg. This means that in 700 mg of powder, there is about 100 mg of each of the seven mushrooms (100 x 7 = 700). No ratio has changed. It is the same. You're still getting your 285 mg of each mushroom if you choose to look at a 2000 mg serving size. The bag was, and is still, 8 oz of 100% mushrooms. We're a small family-run business, not a greedy corporation.

What is the extraction ratio of this product? Meaning How much raw mushroom is needed to get 100gram of the extract?

Shiitake mushrooms : The objective of this study was to determine the β-glucan content in different sections of the fruiting bodies and mycelia of ten shiitake mushroom cultivars. The measured β-glucan content ranged from 20.06 ± 1.76% to 44.21 ± 0.13% in the pileus sections, and from 29.74 ± 1.40% to 56.47 ± 4.72% in the stipe sections. The results of this study indicate that the FRUITING BODY POWDER probably has on average 30% beta glucans. so a 500mg capsule is like 1.5Grams of this powder. BUT 1/7 if you assume the other have no beta glucan, but of course they do!!!! So, assume about 1.5Grams a VERY small amount to take, this is GREAT VALUE!

I've recently discovered the use of mushrooms for increasing ones immunity. how does this product compare to ahcc? will it boost ones immunity as well

May not be a scientist, I may not be a biologist but, I do know that since my husband has taken this product he has been a lot healthier. it helps with his types 2 diabetes and it helped him with his cancer . By know means am I saying it cured him; I'm simply saying this mixed mushrooms help lower his sugar level and boost his immune system this cocktail of 7 mushrooms is a healthy balance at least for us. yes he still takes his meds for his diabetes and for his cancer but, it does help a lot while taking the mushrooms. His blood sugar stays low when he takes medicinal mix; blood level 114 when he is not not taking the medicinal mushroom mix his blood sugar is much higher; blood level 150. I recommend this product to my friends and family. But like I stated I'm not a scientist and I'm not a biologist but I know it boost his immune system and dropped his blood sugar levels I recommend this product just for healthy life living I am very healthy and I take it to.
