Great gift for graduating attorney. Quality piece. Heavy weight. Lovely look.

I was hesitant about buying this because there were mixed reviews on the quality of it, but I thought it was a great quality. I got it as a gift for my friends law school graduation, and she loved it! Its a great size, and I personally thought the product description was extremely accurate. I wanted to buy one for myself after seeing it! Also it is SUPER EASY to assemble. Feels very sturdy too after putting it together. Also it looks like its made with really quality materials.

I am a Libra so I love all things scales and balance, so this seemed like the perfect decor to have. I am a bit saddened by the fact that the scales are not functional. They do not go up and down, unfortunately. If you wanted functionality, this is not it. If you want decor only, this is s good option. The gavel isn't the best of quality, as you can see the gold sticker on the gavel came already peeling off and when you use it it just sounds cheap. Quality and functionality are lacking so I can't really recommend for the price.

Its small but it was very nice for what I used it for.

I won’t be using this as a jewelry stand, but I think it looks great as a chotchske. It’s pretty lightweight.
