I have a bad back and can't lean over.** A: I don’t think it will work with picking strawberries on the ground. Strawberry is too delicate and will easily getting bruises by this picker. **Q: Can I buy the just the bag?** A: I don't know if you can buy just the bag. This bag is NOT removable from frame. I find the frame is helpful to help pull the fruit gently from stems.
