About how many Lego bricks will this hold?

I just bought a smaller brick half this size. It held a 1500 piece set we bought almost to the brim. Double that and you're looking at 3000 piece easy.

Will the storage block 8 hold a decent amount of duplos or is it designed more for the smaller Lego pieces?

Approximately how many Lego Duplo (not the tiny ones or large ones) bricks will this hold?

It really depends on the shapes of the pieces you have but, realistically, you can get about 180 pieces easily.I have 3 sets - the 144-piece education DUPLO brick set (#4496357), the 31-piece DUPLO My First Number Train Building Set (#10558), and the 15-piece DUPLO Creative Play Toddler Build and Pull Along (#10554) - and all the combined pieces do NOT fit in my storage brick. In particular, there is not enough room for the large orange pull cart that comes with the Pull Along set (It's about 10-pins long and 6 pins wide, plus wheels, and double height. Its BIG.) Otherwise, all the other pieces fit. Tightly, but they do fit.

Can you stack two boxes ?
