I have used similar products before and the chrome appearance was dull. This one is like real chrome. It sticks well also if you prepare the surface appropriately. Would buy again.

I bought two rolls of this for a retro bar I'm making. It looks ok but the tape just doesn't stick. I had to purchase 3M emblem tape to even get it to adhere to a bar front. With the installed tape it fell off overnight ! I cant imagine what would happen on an auto. This is soft and pliable. O.K. for my use but I don't think that would be good for a car or truck. I gave it one star because of the additional cost for good tape to install it. Increased my price by about 30 percent. Time , trouble, not a good value by the time your done .

This is a great product, sticks well but it was so hard getting the red backing off. I wasted a lot of it attempting to remove it.

Built a replica Jukebox for the play Sweat. Chrome trim worked super, we did fasten it to the prop with liquid nails construction adhesive. The pressure sensitive adhesive foam tape that comes on the product was too weak for our purpose. Product is very shiny and flexible. Many compliments.

Good product, may have to be machined before installing, my 4Runner has a slight pulsation when braking.

Applicata su camper su superficie liscia. Ho dovuto aggiungere un filo di silicone per far aderire meglio la striscia dato che è stata applicata in un punto difficile e con il solo adesivo non avrebbe resistito per molto. Molto bello il risultato, soddisfatto.

Pictures to follow. Easy to install, easy to cut using a simple box cutter, if installing outside I recommend doing so when the temperature is a warm as the molding is more flexible and easier to manipulate. Compare to similar product at the local autopart store, this product is half the price and has a nice finish. I haven't wash my truck yet but will update on the adhesive after. Overall very please so far with this purchase. Update: Had the truck washed today at a local car wash with spinning brushes, the molding handled the spinning brushes like a champ! Very pleased with the purchase.

Utilisé dans le but de protéger le tour de caisse au niveau de l'arête longitudinale sur un fourgon fraîchement repeint. Propre comme un neuf, il devra le rester puisque sa seconde vie sera celle d'un véhicule de loisir. Ce fourgon aménagé, pour moi, doit avoir de la gueule et de belles finitions. Question de... Fierté ! 😉 Après dégraissage de la peinture, après avoir tiré une bande-cache tout le long de chaque côté (pour être sûr que de soit droit, n'est ce pas...), j'ai mesuré les longueurs à couper. Au ciseau, ça va parfaitement. Décollé les protections adhésives et j'ai posé. L'adhésif 3M tient bien. Il fait froid en ce moment, j'ai donc passé (raisonnablement !) un coup de chaud avec le décapeur thermique puis j'ai retiré les protections adhésives translucides destinées à protéger le chrome. Premier côté et résultat : C'est top, c'est beau, ça en jette ! Enthousiaste pour le deuxième côté, le tour de caisse est fini et la pose de cet adhesif (de qualité) donne un aspect plus conforme à ce qui se fait actuellement mais aussi, il va éviter les fameux coups de portes 'sur l'arête' qui laissent à chaque fois des plis durables sauf à passer par un carrossier, redresser, repeindre... Fastidieux ! Ces bandes chromées trouvent donc toute leur utilité en plus de donner l'image d'un véhicule qui se démarque. Ça le fait bien, sans souci particulier. Notez que : La carrosserie doit être propre et dégraissée. Le collage tient bien y compris sous la pluie normande puisque ce fourgon ne rentre pas dans mon atelier et qu'il a plu de nombreux jours dessus. J'avais un peur d'un décollage de place en place, mais non. Rien n'a bougé ! Alors, encore une fois, je remercie infiniment Amazon et ses vendeurs pour les super produits dénichés à un prix tiré...
