This is one of the best, simplest and easiest to use soil tester I have ever come across. You get immediate results. No wet chemistry to deal with. No sending samples to a faraway lab and waiting for the results. We learned that our garden soil is way too acid and we need to neutralize it to get better results. In addition, it is a 3 in 1 Tester that can tell you moisture condition and light/dark condition of the soil to help you choose optimum location. A truly amazing tool!!

For the moisture and light meter this product seems to be effective so far. I have backed up using the meter with other ways of testing (visually for the light portion, finger and container weight for the moisture portion) and the meter seems to match my rough estimate. While I haven't been able to verify the ph accuracy yet, so far it seems to react differently to different soils. Overall the meter is easy to read, it will give you a general idea, but it is not for precise measurement. The meter is easy to use, just don't push to hard into the soil and clean off it off once you are done using it. For the price it seems to be worth it so far, if things changes I will update this review. Full disclosure: I don't often do reviews and am doing this one since the company offers a gift for doing so, though I have kept the review to what I have experienced and as accurate as I can be.

I had one of these years ago that never seemed to register correctly. I was having trouble with a plant whose symptoms for over- and underwatering are the same. This was exactly what I needed for healthy watering. Glad I tried again with a different brand.

I recently purchased your soil tester because I am growing a new honeycrisp apple tree. Needed to monitor the Ph level and it was so easy to use and it read my Ph level right where it needed to be . I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs to measure their Ph Level . Thx

Doesn't work correctly.

The needle does not move on the PH setting. I tried it on different types of soil, including sand, two different types of potting soil mix and soil from my flower bed and the needle stays the same place for all soil. I contacted the seller on amazon and they quickly sent a replacement, which had the same exact problem. I contacted the seller again to thank they for the quick re-shipment and to inform them that this one did not work also and I asked if any of these items are tested prior to shipment because I received two with the same issue. They never responded back. Complete waste of money, it is outside of the return period.

Product was easy to use it assisted me in preparing my garden for this growing season. Especially for the blueberries.

I'm in love with this meter. And I'm amazed at how quickly I can switch from checking on the moisture level to checking on the PH level. From raised garden to raised garden and to all the pots in my yard, this meter is going to help maintain my entire garden. I wish I had bought one of these years ago!
